The radio is really in great condition with very few scratches on the case and a almost spotless bezel. The radio has been tuned and peaked as they say by me as I look at all items as If I would like to keep them myself. Radio is on frequency AM. SSB(uppper and lower) Radio powers up and all features work as they should. Radio also has calibration on it to check your SWR for the antenna match. Radio has great audio and is loud on transmit! Up for sale is a Fox model CB 240 mobile CB radio. This was an estate sale find. I don't have an antenna or anything to test it. But I plugged it into my truck and it powered up. The wiring might need to be adjusted or replaced, however. The power cuts out if you move it into certain positions. There's a bit of what looks like paint overspray on parts of the unit itself(see pictures) but with a little cleaning you might be able to get that off. This auction is for a rare radio. It is a Ranger Supersport 3. It has 6 bands and AM/FM modes. It has been worked on before. It has been set for variable dead key from 0 to 10 watts. I changed the meter(was bad) and added a BLUE meter light. It works both transmit and receive. But may need alignment tuning( I am not equiped to align radios) It came to me with an intermitant problem, it would transmit sometimes, then power would drop off. It was a bad solder job on the finals. It works now and has plenty of swing, you may want to reset dead key for your needs, It has ECHO with dual controls, and factory variable power, Roger Beep, RF Gain, Mic Gain, Modulation meter and RF meter and Bright/Dim button for channel indicator This radio is being sold as is. On this radio I think the good bad and ugly and the pink panther and woody woodpecker were on this radio. USED, VINTAGE, MOTOROLA MOCAT 2020, 23 CHANNEL, MOBILE CB RADIO
This is a Mocat 2020 Motorola CB. The body is in good condition just has some black marks and minor scuffs/scratches. A little elbow grease would probably get the marks out. I plugged it in to my cigarette lighter and the channel LED light up. Except bottom right line(check out the pic) There is no backlight for the gauge on it, I don't know if there is supposed to be. I have no antenna, but I heard fuzz and it went away when I pressed the button on the mic. There is no bracket but both wing bolts are there. The mic and wire harness is there. These are not my specialty but it seems to work well. Let me know if you have any questions.
