This is a vintage CB antenna by Channel Master. Citizens Band Mobile Antenna. Its still attached to the box and appears to be unused. Looks like the allen wrench is missing. I am assuming the instructions are gone too. At least I can't find them. Its pretty attached to the box so I don't want rip it all apart to take a look at it. Its obviously been getting shuffled around in someones garage for a long time now but all appears to be well with it. I can't show it in the photos cause it was hard to photograph but towards the tip of the antenna it is bent. Not a actual bend but more the kind where the cardboard the antenna is attached to has warped and the antenna took on the bend shape of the box. I don't think that should hurt it. Here is a poor working cobra 148-gtl AM/SSB mobile cb radio. This radio came from one of my friends. This radio is stock and is in fair cosmetic condition. This radio is not modified and all controls including the channel display. And meter work as they should, except mic gain control. My radio checks did not go through, except to my closest neighbor a half mile away and i could barely here him. Radio shows 1.5-watts output on AM with good modulation and about 4- watts on SSB and slightly over driven sounding. The bezel and face show normal wear with blemishes and scratches. And top cover has two holes where my friend had a freq. counter mounted. The only other problem is the mic gain control which spins 360 degrees. And is hit& miss on audio. This radio shows on frequency on my inline freq. counter. Regency CR-186 23 Channel CB Radio Hello. This is a used CB radio. The body and mic are in excellent condition. The power cable has a quick disconnect fuse clip. But the plastic surround is broke. Easily fixed by either soldering the wire together, adding a new fuse box in-line, or just taping the plastic together. I did test it in the car by holding the 12V wire together and the lights turn on. When pressing the mic switch the signal meter changed. I did hear sound but other than that I don't do any further testing. Includes 16" antenna and 10+' cable.
