Nice Yuasa (NEWS) 5C Collet indexer - Complete with Ratcheting Assembly
This is a nice clean horizontal& vertical 5C collet indexer. The label says"NEWS& Yamato Koki" NEWS was the importer of Yuasa tools before Yuasa International started importing directly. Yamato Koki is one of the 5 Japanese companies that manufacture Yuasa Tools. This unit is in very good operating condition. The spindle nose is very good. There is one small spot on the threads that looks like it was hit with a grinding wheel(see picture) The inside of the spindle nose is perfect. Both the horizontal and vertical mounting faces are nice with only light scratching. The unit grips very well and releases nicely.The unit has been thoroughly cleaned. Lubticated and repainted. The thread on the spindle nose is 2-1/4 X 8TPI so this accepts a number of common lathe chucks. Payment via Paypal only unless alternate arrangements are ... moremade before bidding.
