Description This is in excellent condition except for the glazing. It looks like a crackle finish. Unless it was suppose to be that way. The front is decorated and signed on the side. The back is is not decorated. Looks like hand painted 24k gold accents and trim all around the jar. The bottom is marked Japan with a company mark. I do not know the company mark. About 8 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" in diameter at the widest. The opening in the top is 2 1/4" in diameter. Does need a little more cleaning. If you want your items mailed to a PO Box. Choose the USPS shipping option. I do combine shipping on multiple wins when possible. Request a total before paying for multiple wins. So that I can adjust the shipping. I'm not so sure the Pitcher and the cups go together when you look closely but they look amazing together on the shelf. Really a beautiful set and I had a hard time finding pieces like it. Cups: They have a nice purple tint running through them. They measure 2 3/4" tall with a 3 3/4" diam. the saucers are 6" diam. They are in wonderful condition with an insignificant mark here or there from age. Pitcher: Some yellow running through it as well as the colors above. It measures 10 1/4" tall. It is good condition. when up on the shelf looks great. Upon closer inspection there are marks here and there from age. may or may not come off. Offering for your consideration today is this large Reed and Barton Tea urn. It is heavily chased and decorated with Grapes and leaves. It is monogrammed on the front and back Overall great condition with only 2 minor dents that are not real noticeable because the piece is so busy. There is one dent on the front just to the right of the monogram at about 4 o'clock and the other is on the back in the middle of the monogram. it holds 84 Fl. oz. of liquid. I put some water in it and the spigot worked properly but it did drip a small drop every 20 seconds. It is marked on the bottom REED AND BARTON with the numbers 1951 and the number 12. There are no breaks or repairs and it measures 18" tall. There is no reserve.

We are pleased to offer a very fine Sheffield silver plated(silver over copper) large tea or coffee urn purchased from a prominent Kentucky family estate. According to family tradition this was purchased from the silver vaults in London sometime in the mid 20th century. Though the urn itself dates around 1830- 1840. The urn of course bears no maker's marks. No monograms. Height approx. 18" width across handles approx. 12 1/2" diameter of base 6 3/4" ball feet extend slightly beyond this. Finial is a quatrefoil feather form; gadrooning around edge of lid, edge of base, and base of column; ball feet. Shipping $25 priority mail insured-this is both sizable and heavy. FINE QUALITY GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER HOT WATER/TEA URN 1806 Presented is an excellent Georgian English sterling silver hot water or tea urn by Stephen Adams I. From 1806. The urn would have been used for dispensing hot water for tea, and would be entirely useable for any similar purpose today. It has a removable canister inside for holding a piece of coal or pig iron to keep the water heated, and a spigot for dispensing the water. The urn is fantastically made in a very classical double handled trophy form, raised on a cut cornered base with ball feet. The urn is beautifully engraved with birds and leaves, and has a crest on both sides of a tree and saw over a crown. This is an excellent piece of English silver work, and would be an asset to any table or collection. ... moreThis piece is hallmarked on the exterior of the lid and body. Opposite the side with the spigot. The body is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the King George III head duty mark, and the date letter L for 1806. The maker's mark SA is for Stephen Adams I. The lid is hallmarked with the maker's mark, date letter, and lion passant. This piece is in excellent condition. We have checked it for water-tightness. And the spigot does not leak when shut off. There may be a solder repair to the juncture of the base and body, or this may be original solder from the manufacture of the piece, we can't be sure. However it isn't visible without picking the piece up and turning it upside down. Otherwise there are no problems, no splits, no breaks, no monograms and no monogram removals. The urn has a capacity of 5 1/2 cups or 44 ounces. The urn stands 11 3/8 inches tall at the highest point. The urn weighs 1237 grams. Good luck and bid with confidence. Up for auction is an Antique Globe Shaped Turkish or Russian Copper& Brass Samovar. It measures approx 16 1/2 inches high including the lid. The base is approx 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. It is approx 10 1/2 inches from end of side to end of spicket. As you can see in the 11th photo 2 of the corners on the base have tiny holes and there is a dent(10th photo) near the top. LATE GEORGIAN ANTIQUE PATENT COPPER SAMOVAR TEA URN Another quality item searched for with care by Jims Things This listing is for one of two late Georgian copper and brass samovars that came from the same home and family and this is the taller of the two that shows on the right hand side in the first photograph. Made on a ornately cast brass base it is an urn shaped copper reservoir that is empty and meant to hold hot tea with a three pint capacity and is covered by the high dome lid. Inside there is an applied makers metal label that states that it is'Loysels Patent Hydrostatic Percolator. L. Pyrke& Sons, London. The percolator is 16 1/2 inches tall to the top of the china knop on the lid and has handles that are nicely shaped with flowers and twisted natural looking loops: A brass outlet tap is working perfectly and has a matching ... morechina handle grip so that it can be pulled forward or back to activate it. I have looked over this exciting piece very carefully and the only faults are that it has a slight wobble to its base and has a tiny ripple to the edge of the copper lid. Up for bid is a very nice Antique/Vintage ornate Floral Silver-plate Coffee Samovar dispenser. This could date anywhere from the late 1920's to the 1940's. This is signed on the bottom and was made by; Van Bergh S.P. Co. Rochester. N.Y. USA Overall this coffee dispenser has no damages and the silver-plate is still in very good condition and will make a real statement. Size is; 16 ¼” High to the tip of the cover’s finial and 9 ½” Wide Overall This is a real nice example with excellent form and workmanship better than most that is priced to sell. Mid Century Ceramic Coffee / Cocoa / Tea Set ~ Urn Pitcher Creamer Sugar ~ EUC
You know Mrs. Brady had one just like it! Charming mid century coffee/ tea/ chocolate urn with matching creamer& sugar bowl. Raised white circle pattern over mottled tones of brown. Great shape with a few factory imperfections that indicate the items weren't assembly line clones. See the spout tip photo. That's not a chip, the edge of the spout is irregular& the glaze has been applied afterward. The rim of the urn has a tiny gouge. Hard to see because the base material appears to be red ware. The bottom of the creamer has a small raised white spot that appears to be a piece of hardened adhesive material. I don't want to pick at it because it is firmly affixed. It can't be seen when the creamer is upright. Set only has one remaining lid which fits both the urn& the sugar bowl, conveniently. Entire set has a handmade ... morerustic look to it. JAPAN is incised on the urn bottom& in glaze on the creamer bottom. Interiors are glazed the same as the exterior without the white circles. It has several markings on it but I can't make it out for the life of me. It appears to be in good condition but I'm not familiar with these so I wouldn't know the first thing about testing it to see if it works. It also appears to tilt a bit. Perhaps one of the feet is tilted and I'm certain can be bent back, I'll leave that to the new owner. It stands 15" tall x 8 1/4" across from handle to handle. Vintage(Antique? COFFEE/ TEA URN With Spigot(Cooper/Brass? This old COFFEE OR TEA URN is 11" high. 5" across liquid belly and over 8" if you measure the ornate black wood handles. The spigot extends out 3" and turns easily(another wood handle) 2 wood knobs to twist off large lid to pour in liquid. Center tube with ceramic insert to keep liquid hot(I see a wick underside) Venting hole and cover on side. Not sure how this was really manufactured to work. Two stamped images on lid. With some printing that I can't make out. The inside capacity of this tea pot is aroung 40 oz.
