Details. 1972 Gibson EB-2D Bass Now here's a cool piece: this is a really nice dual pickup EB-2 in a rare and very sweet looking Ice Tea sunburst finish that looks even more amazing in person. It's all original and in good condition. There are small marks/nicks/scratches throughout as you'd expect to find an instrument of this vintage. The finish is in good shape with no checking. There are no breaks but the neck has been professionally re-set with a little paint touch-up on the joint. This was an expert repair that needs to be pointed out to be noticed. The pickguard had been cracked/glued in the thin part that goes around the pickup. These basses have a super warm tone thanks to the semi-hollow body and shorter 30.5" scale length. The Tongs are the only Austro Hungarian examples I have ever seen and any Austro Hungarian Silver this early is quite Rare indeed. The Tongs came from a very fine estate collection. A few weeks ago we sold a few other pieces and they garnered a lot of interest. The Tongs are very fancy and beautiful with great Repousse Period designs throughout, much nicer than my photos show. The Tongs are also quite large and nice thick Solid Silver throughout measuring 6-3/4" long by 2" wide and weighing 56 grams. The Tongs are being sold as is, there is a couple old repaired cracks and some other dints on the upper portion, but they are quite rare to find in any condition I am sure and I think they display beautifully. The Tongs show the 13 Loth Mark which denotes 81% Pure Silver plus the Date mark of 1846. I doubt you will find another set of Tongs like this up auction, especially with no reserve! Vintage Antique Crock Porcelain Beverage Liquid Water Ice Tea Dispenser WORKS
I do NOT know the age of this piece. I took the metal handle off of the crock. Oiled it and replaced the rubber caskets and this crock WORKS AND DOES NOT LEAK! This off-white creamy crock is 12" H. The widest part of the crock is 8 1/2" in diameter. The lid measures 6 1/4" in diameter. The opening is 5 1/8" in diameter. The base is 7 1/2" in diameter. The crock has 2 brown stripes that measure 1/16" wide. The crock weighs 7 1/2 pounds. That is why the shipping cost is what it is. There are no cracks or chips on this piece. There is a weird dimple on the lid- not a chip though. The surface of this piece has a nice glaze and every so often. You can see little pits on the surface. Vintage (?) Ice Tea Jug
Up for bid is a lovely ice tea/lemonade jug. I believe it could be vintage as I purchased it at an old estate sale and almost all the items I got are vintage. This jug is in excellent condition and did not leak when I tested it.
