Vintage Irwin plastic tea set in the original box. Box reads"Florentine Tea Set" I assume that refers to the pattern. Done in a very dark pink. Almost a red, color with white. Includes a tea urn with lid. 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 saucers, creamer, open sugar(no lid/not sure there ever was one) and 4 each knives, forks& spoons. To give you an idea as to size. Gorham Coffee/Tea Urn Silverplated with Stand
Up for auction is a very nice antique Gorham Coffee/Iced Tea Decanter. I do not know a lot about the history of the unit. On the bottom is stamped"Gorham" and"Silver Soldered" Overall height is 21" and Handle-to-handle is 14" It has two spigots. One on the decanter and one on the stand for condensation. Very solidly built-it weighs almost 19 pounds. The finish is somewhat of a hammered steel look. The inner pot does show some staining that may or may not come out with some deep scrubbing. Otherwise. Traditionally. Furniture makers imitated architectural forms, but Eastlake reversed this process. Eastlake houses had architectural ornamentation that had copied the furniture inside the house. Eastlake promotes a peculiar kind of furniture and interior ... moredecoration that was angular. Notched and carved, Eastlake forms were strongly rectilinear and had geometric ornament, turnings, brackets, trestles and incised linear decoration… Subject offer this time in this early WILCOX SILVER PLATE Co. Colossal oval vessel decorated with hand-chased symmetric details interrupted with a central heart shaped cartouche on both sides along with hand chased tassel-like and zigzag elements on top of its body and neck. Up for auction is this 1874 Medien B. company coffee urn. Tea set. I believe this set is silver plated. Please see pictures for marking.The tea pot is ingraved SAR from BFD and there is a smaller ingraving under it which is to small to make out. the bottoms all say, Meriden B company 1874 1/2 with a 6 under that. All the other peices have an S ingraved on them. This set is in very good condition The hound dogs head is a bit rough. It could use a good polishing. Greetings! Antique Russian? Brass Tea Samovar With Tray. The Samovar is marked but I couldn't find the Maker. Please see photos 10 and 11. The tray is also Stamped see photo 12. Has top and spout that pulls out. I don't see how it would hold tea as it is open in the bottom please see photo 9. Wooden handles and one knob on the top that opens. Measures Approximately 19 and 1/2" tall. 14 and 1/2" from handle to handle. The tray measures 17 and 1/2" by 12 and 1/4" at the widest point. I would say good to very good condition based on age an use. Does have some dings and dent and a little bend in the rim. Please use zoom to judge condition as I am selling AS IS. Up for bid is an Antique/Vintage Gorham& Company Silver Electroplated(Silverplated) Tea Caddy or Lidded Canister/Jar/Urn. Engraved"1892" and what may be the letter"M" on the opposite side. On the bottom is stamped"Gorham Co 010 Silver Soldered" with a hallmark Anchor and the front facing head of a Lion with a full mane. There is a scratch which runs the diameter on the bottom. Also a slight ding near the Lion hallmark. There are various other fine scratches around the caddy and a few very tiny dings. The circular top underneath the lid has one flat side(see photo) No stains. Is tarnished, but can be easily polished if that is the look you prefer.
