Vintage Glass of Lipton Ice Tea Keychain
This is a cute“glass” of ice tea from Lipton keychain. Measuring 4” from end-to-end. The glass measures 1-1/4” long. The chain does show some rust and the liquid that was originally inside has evaporated over the years. When I purchased this piece the liquid was all gone. For sale are 6 Ice Tea tumblers in the Moroccan Amethyst color made by the Hazel Atlas Co. They each measure 6 1/4" tall. The pattern name is Swirl. There are several different patterns in the Moroccan Amethyst category, all purple glass, all made by Hazel Atlas. These tumblers have the swirl on the inside of the tumblers, the pictures are of all 6 tumblers, looking down into one so you can see the swirl, the tumblers with one on its side, the 6 upside down, a single tumbler, and last, looking down into the 6 tumblers. These are all in very good condition with no problems. The glass is a beautiful purple, and would set a lovely table. The book I am using shows these at $15 each. This is a Oriental silver set of6 ice tea spoons(8" and a matching serving piece(10 1/2" The handles are coiled with a beautiful ornate design on the the tip that matches that of the serving piece. There are 5 cut out designs on the blade of the serving piece and a woman with a basket and stick or flute in her hand. The set is silver. But not marked so I cannot verify. It does polish like good silver does. These pieces came from my great Aunt who lived in Ashville N C. My mother received it from her in the 1920s when she visited. To my knowledge, the piece was not used by my Mother and I've had for since the 1980s and have never used so time to share. I am guessing at the original age. This lovely set was used by my mother in the 1950's. The graceful pitcher is slightly over 11" tall with a 4 1/2" diameter. The glasses are 6 3/4" tall with slightly under 2 1/2" diameter. The set is in remarkable condition considering its age. There is no loss of any white rose design on the pitcher or glasses. Only one of the 6 glasses has a little loss of gold on the rim. There are no chips. Cracks or scratches.
