This is a Craftsman Commercial grinder. This is the first one I've had in front of me. I'll be honest and say that I really don't know what makes it different from a non-Commercial grinder. The insides looked a little beefier to me maybe and I would expect it to have heavier duty bearings as well. Basically. I'm guessing here but I can tell you this is one solidly built tool. What you're looking at here is what bench grinder aficionados call a Block Grinder. Craftsman bench grinders earned this name both because of their squarish appearance and also they just don't stop working much like a block is always a block. These were manufactured many decades ago. This one being a 1973 model, right here in the USA. That's important because any big box store you walk into today hoping to purchase a quality grinder for your ... morehome shop is going to sell you something imported. Something whose number one priority is to cost the retailer the smallest investment and offer the highest return. These stores are going to sell you something with cheap bearings. This is Peugeot's top of the line cast iron model with solid brass covers and white enamel inside. Impressive. But not too large for home use, the mill itself is about 19 in tall, with the 15 in. cast iron fly wheel adding a few more inches to bring the total to about 22 inches. The cast iron catch box is about 9 in sq. The finished wooden base is salvaged maple with solid brass fasteners. Vintage Craftsman Commercial 7" Bench Grinder 1/2 HP Made In USA 397.19590 block
I hope you don't think I'm weird but this is one sexy beast right here. This vintage bench grinder just has it all going on! You probably already know this but this grinder is what fans call a Block Grinder. They call it a block grinder because of its shape and also because it's as reliable as a block. They just don't ever fail. For the money there are no better grinders available and you can expect them to run for a ridiculously long time; generations and generations. The date stamp on this grinder is November 16. 1965. This is a Commercial grinder with the capacitor start motor and beefier internals. These are quite nice indeed. At this point in the block grinder's history the commercial versions were called Industrial Rated grinders but they're the same thing. I'm going to do a lot of gushing in this thread ... moreso please bear with me. This thing runs beyond smooth. It's crazy. You flip the switch and you can feel the power of it instantly. 1/2 true horsepower, not like the over-rated values given to today's big box store import grinders. This thing lays down some muscle. While you can feel the torque coming alive you also can't ignore how smooth and quiet it runs. It just hums, that's it. A very nice sounding hum, the sound of a perfect machine that's elated to be turned on and ready to do some work. When you shut it off, go make yourself a cup of coffee, because it takes a really, really long time for the wheels to spin down under their own force. The shaft spins so easily that it just doesn't want to stop going, even when the power is cut. Friction has taken a vacation. You're going to love this grinder, I promise, and I'm talking head over heels. There just isn't anything else like them out there. If you're shopping for a bench grinder this is the way to go. Azkoyen Capriccio Molino M-02 Commercial Burr Coffee Grinder. Great. Low use
This is in great condition. A few scuffs and scratches but nothing major. Mechanically it's great and doesn't seem to have much use. There's a lifetime use timer that can't be reset and according to that this machine has only pulled 343 shots as of now which is hardly any. This was serviced and the burr chamber. And passages were thoroughly cleaned so it's ready to use immediately. After it was cleaned there was a few grams ran through it to make sure everything was functioning as it's supposed to. Then vacuumed out. Burrs seem to be in good condition and should last a good while more. I'll provide a link to the programming manual for the buyer.

Vintage Electrohone Cutlery Grinder Knife Sharpener Hone 2 Speed Commercial Grade. Older commercial grade knife sharpener grinder in working order. Selling as found and as is. Overall very good used condition as pictures should show. Hone surface is 7" wide and appears to be in good shape. Grinder operated as it should at low speed and high speed. At high speed the grinder does wobble a bit, it may smooth out with some new rubber base feet. The stain on back is stubborn, I tried to clean it but, I only took paint off in trying. Grinder has 2 grease cups as shown, grinder stands 12-3/8" high x 12" long x 7-5/8" deep and is heavy at 44 lbs.

But the wall mounted AC switch works just as well. The power switch is the only week link in this U.S. built grinder that will last you a lifetime. If it should ever fail using the power switch I provided. I will take it back and give full refund upon return. If you mess up the wiring putting in a replacement switch, all warranties are void. A NICE GRINDER THAT IS READY TO GO. IT WAS IN A FAMILY MEMBER'S PASTRY SHOP AND WAS WELL CARED FOR. IT STILL HAD BEANS IN IT AND I RAN THEM OUT- IT GROUND AND PERFORMED VERY WELL.
