The clear Hexagon is made of lucite and has 1 seam but exactly opposite of that at the crease. It split in almost an exactly straight line and appears to have been glued or somehow put together. Also, this hexagon has on the top and bottom outside, a black ring that shows damage at each of these 2 sides where it split. It is completely together and sturdy at this point in time and as I attained it. No maker markings. The cord has a roll switch approx 1 1/2 feet down from the lamp for on/off. It works perfectly.
