Marshall JCM 2000 DSL- 100 Watt Tube Amp This was my main studio and road amp for the past five years. She's never let me down. Comes with foot switch and power cord. I'm not touring any more so I have no need for the 100 watt handling power. She's nasty loud. There a couple of rips in the Tolex(see photos for condition) I had this unit modded with a medium gain 12AT7 in the Number 4 slot in the preamp. You'll see the slot labeled in the back. I did this intentionally as I used this mainly as a big tube power amp on the clean channel and occasionally the effects loop. I used a Digitech 2101 Studio Tube controller to control program switching and volume changes. I've never used the two other channels with the massive overdrive. Though I do know they work. She's been sitting for about a year. So you'll need a fresh ... moreset of tubes and bias once you get her. You can have the 12AT7 tube switched back to a high gain ECC83 if you so desire when you get it biased. I'll take the tubes out and individually bubble wrap them before I pack the box. The drawn up schematics have a date of 1999 and I bought this amp in 2001 or 02. I believe it is a 2001 model, but cannot tell for sure. The serial number is CR-264234 and nothing on line narrowe d the manufacture date. As the two letter dating I fou nd only applies to amps bu ilt before 2000. It is a 2X12 combo with Jensen 8 oh m speakers wired in series(16 ohm total) It has remained in a smoke free environment for the entire time I have owned it. Gigged only a little and only in friendly environm ents(no beer o r smoke ... moredamage) Included with this amp: Original footswitch. Which controls channels and reverb Extra set(quad) of matched JJ El ectronic 6L6 power tubes Evidence Audio Siren II speaker cable(and jumper for + and- of speakers) Original manual with amp schematics It has two channels. It has 4- 6L6 power tubes and 8- preamp tubes AX7 and AT7. There is only about 30-40 hours on all these tubes. The amp has been serviced a couple of times at Craig's Music in Weatherford, by Rick. It was making a popping noise, and it fixed it rather easily- at no charge. During that time, I changed all the tubes as well. This amp is in perfect working condition and is loud, with lots of headroom on the clean channel. It has only a few marks on the tolex, no major dings, no tears or stains on the grill cloth. This amp was purchased off of EBAY in 1999 from Sacred Groove- George Lynch's company. He has two amps for sale at that time. I bought this one from him. It is signed and dated on the back in black ink AND also on a green piece of tape. I was told at that time this amp was used for the Wicked Sensation CD recordings. This amp is by far a collectors piece and I do not want to let it go but have to due to divorce. It is priced a little higher than the others due to being a collector. The amp rocks and the tubes are fine. The channel selector on the rear needs to be cleaned. You are bidding on a Laney VH100R 100 watt guitar amp. It was retolexed in red and is running 6L6 power amp tubes with very low hours on them. It is in great cosmetic shape. Obviously the tolex is red. The faceplate has a few slight markings but nothing horrible or that affect the functionality in any way. It comes with a custom Switchdoctor footswitch as well. It has 2 separate channels. Each of them having an additional gain boost available. Multiple effects loops, onboard reverb, separate effects levels for each channel, multiple speaker cabinet output configurations. The works. This amp is very loud, so be forewarned. It has a very unique open tone. The clean channel is really amazing but the gain channel is great as well. I'm unaware of a reliable way to determine the date of manufacture from the serial number, but from what I can gather this amp is late 1980's- early 1990's vintage. As the photo's indicate, the amp is far from mint, but overall is in good used condition. I purchased the amp used, and decided it best to have it professionally serviced before listing it. I installed(4) matched JJ EL-34's, and then turned it over to Dean Zinc, Detroit's top amp tech, who gave it a thorough going over. He replaced a few of capacitors and resisters, biased and reordered the tubes, and in general brought the amp back to spec and full functionality. Made in Germany. Back at the dawn of Metal. This cool vintage solid-state amplifier from Norlin/Lab shows plenty of cosmetic use, with scuffing, staining and such, but still makes a nice overall impression, and this kind of honest wear from age and use is what we now refer to as“mojo” The amp powers up and works as it should, with both channels sounding great. The only issue I can find is that the reverb doesn’t seem to be working. When I turn up the reverb knob, I just get a hiss which increases the more you turn up the reverb knob, so I’m guessing the reverb will need some attention from a tech. You are bidding on a pair of 8 ohm Celestion G12k-100 speakers with original boxes. I purchased these speakers new about 3 years ago. I installed them in a Mesa 4x12 Recto Standard and maybe put 10 hours on them before removing them and putting them back in the boxes. I thought I would get around to using them again at some point but it just didn't happen. These speaker are not even broken in. There just wasn't any real time put on them. They are in super clean condition and work perfectly. One of the dust covers has some discoloration. I tried to show. In the photos.nothing serious it came that way new in the box. 1980 Marshall 100 watt model 2203 amp
I don't even know where to begin. This is the first Marshall I ever owned. I bought it early in 1981. It is a 1980 Mk2. It is in AMAZING condition. I just fired it up it is still sounds fantastic. 100 watts of pure joy. Though there are others who preferred the 50 watt around this time. The skin is near perfect except for the cut under the front controls. See photo. The vent plate on top has cracks at the rivet areas. Marshall logo still perfect. The amp was also modified by legendary San Francisco Bay Area Amp Demi-God, Keith Reinegger. He boosted the Pre amp Stage with a push pull switch. Marshall JCM 800 Guitar Amp combo 4103 100 watt 2x12
This is a JCM 800 4103. Which is from either 1984 or 1985. It has horizontal inputs, but is the model with 5 filter capacitors instead of the three that later models with horizontal inputs have. The amp originally came with 6550 power tubes but has been changed to Winged C EL34s. The person who had the amp before me had changed a few of the capacitors and resistors in the tone circuit. Which I have since changed back to the stock 2203 values. In addition. The amp came with what appears to be a stock 100k pot(the printing on the side is identical to that of the other controls) as a mid control. I replaced that with a 25k pot(which is in line with the more traditional marshall 2203 values) but will be happy to place the 100k pot back in if you'd rather have it there. If not, I will be happy to ship it with the amp in the event that you ... morewant to change it later. I used this amp for about 6 years. Including recording and touring, but I am moving and don't have the space for it anymore. It has been in climate controlled storage since 2005. I played it yesterday and it works fine. Some pots are a little scratchy, but it does not interfere with the sound of the amp once controls are set. The speakers are two celestion g12T-75s. Having only two speakers allows them to break up nicely when the amp is cranked. Please email with any questions before bidding. General technical questions are fine. Buyer pays shipping.
