Included is a nice cabinet that houses the instrument and a supplemental case that houses its slides and accessories. MODEL: MK SERIAL NUMBER: 11448 You might be wondering what the heck a Delineascope is? Well… This guy was produced and sold by Spencer Lens Company(Buffalo. NY) from the early 1920s through the 1960s. The delineascope, which could project both slides and print images, color and black-and-white, was used in K-12 education, as well as in colleges, universities, and military training situations. It is an early predecessor of the Projector. This guy is in beautiful ... morecondition. I’ve taken pictures from every angle. So you can see exactly what I’m talking about. Even if you have no intention of using it to project slides. It would make a beautiful display piece or movie prop. The outer case is not dented or scratched. All the chrome shines beautifully, and all badges and markings are present. Footpads are present, and all adjustments work as they should. All paint is still present and shines just like when it was new. All the lenses are in great shape and included. And the bulb is working as it should. There is one splice in the cord from the previous owner. I do not have any slides to project to test it. But it does light up, and the cooling fan and motor work. It did emit a bit of smoke when I ran it for a bit, I’m guessing that is because it was awfully dusty in there before I cleaned it out. The thing that might be the big selling point is the case… It is a great vintage carrying case… Fitted black leatherette covered wood cabinet with a purple-velvet lined accessory case that inserts into a rack on the side of the cabinet.
