The Gossen SBC Super Pilot is an amazing light meter. Its Silicon Blue Cell(SBC) makes it super-sensitive in extremely low light situations. Better than that it's very small and lightweight. It has ISO film speeds from 6 to 12.500. F-stops from f1.0 to f45. Shutter speeds from 1/2,000 to 2 hours! High and low light level switch on the side. Battery check button on the bottom. Light level reading button on the side- press it in halfway to get a reading, press it in all the way to lock the reading. Needle adjustment screw on the back. Comes with shoulder strap and perfectly fitting soft pouch. Uses two 625 batteries- not included. This meter is in great cosmetic shape. However the needle fails to respond. The battery is dead so I can not test it but it was working fine last time I used it. I removed the battery and the battery area is not corroded at all. Vintage Early Uniline wall plate for 3x Despard, w/switch, outlet, pilot light
Here's one you don't see every day! A classic Uniline wall plate for 3 Despard interchangeable devices. Complete with three devices ready to go. A 20 amp single-pole toggle switch, a neon pilot light, and a 15 amp grounded receptacle, all by Pass& Seymour. The wall plate was made by P&S to the earlier, Art-Deco influenced Uniline style, and is brand new still in the original cardboard sleeve with screws. It's still a rich chocolatey brown color and looks pretty good. The switch, pilot light, and receptacle all appear to be unused, with no wear and no damage, but I'm calling them used just to be safe. They were all stored out of their original packaging, but there's little scuffing(the dome of the pilot light seems to have taken the brunt of it, with some scratches that don't show up in the photo) but all three ... moreparts look great and are the same brown color as the plate. The mounting bracket is unused. Despard interchangeable components were meant to provide options for multiple devices in small spaces. For instance. One could have three light switches in this plate, and later change them to a switch and two recepts, or whatever, and not need to expand to larger junction boxes. Popular from the 40's through to about the 1970's, Despard components are considered obsolete for new buildings, but are still sought after for vintage home restorations. This particular set is unusual, in that I've included a pilot light instead of a second switch or receptacle-the light would usually be wired up to show if a light in another room(say an attic or garage, or maybe an outside light) was on or off. They're pretty rare, and this one's unused!

TESTED GOSSEN SUPER PILOT CDS LIGHT METER FOR PARTS OR REPAIR
Vintage Gossen Super Pilot light meter in good cosmetic condition with no obvious defects. This is a high quality German incident/reflected light meter with Cine scale. Other than the usual signs of use. The only obvious cosmetic fault I can find is that the incident light dome has yellowed with age. Don't know if the yellowing affects exposure. Probably not by much, if at all. However, this meter takes a PX13 1.35 volt mercury button cell battery that is no longer made. PX13 replacements with same voltage can be found on eBay for $6.97. I used the readily available 625 button cell which is the same size as the PX13 but 1.5 voltage. With the 625 I got needle readings which look ballpark, but at first glance, slightly lower than they should be, but that may be due to the higher voltage of the 625. I guarantee this item to be as described ... morebut I didn't want to bother ordering the PX13 replacement with the right voltage just to test the accuracy of the meter so I'm selling it as is for parts or repair.

This is a set you don't see every day! One vintage. Early style Uniline wall plate, for 3 Despard devices, with a 15 amp switch, outlet, and pilot light and a mounting bracket! The wall plate is to the earlier, Art-Deco influenced Uniline style, and features a border detailing and narrow vertical ribs. The switch, outlet, and pilot light are all unused and in perfect condition. Despard electrical devices were popular in the postwar years, up until the 70's or so, and were used in areas where multiple devices were needed but where there was limited space. For instance, you could put in three switches in this plate, or a switch and two outlets, etc. The pilot light is an unusual piece-typically it would be wired to show if a light that wasn't visible(such as a garage, attic, or outside) was on or off. This specific log book came from the estate of Unteroffizier Hans-Joachim Kawig! Used to correctly document all flights and missions. This log books dates from July 1944. It contains only 34 flights, however all(apart from one flight in a Fw44) all take place in an Me109 F or G. Made of heavy paper, this log book is in AMAZING used condition. As mentioned. This logbook belonged to Unteroffizier Hans-Joachim Kawig, whose unit I am not 100% sure of as yet.
