These are the modern equivalent to the 1954 through 1959 jack cup screws. These are only partially threaded just like the originals! If you have an old body. Don't strip the wood! these screws are a must) Compare these jack cup screws to the pickguard screw. These are impossible to find. And important to have! They are nickel plated/ hardened steel! Each screw is aged by hand(one at a time) So there is no rust on the threads. Only on the heads! Rusty threads will create dry rot in the wood of your precious guitar!
