This Starrett V-block comes with the matching clamp. All parts are in very good condition. Slight signs of wear. The block measures 1 1/4" L x 1 1/4 W x 1 1/4 H, and the height with the clamp attached measures about 2 3/4" The capacity is 1 1/4" 32mm) The block shows signs of slight surface rust which should be able to be buffed out. It also shows a nice patina as it is a vintage piece. The block is marked LS Starrett co. no.271. This is from my dads tool collection and is no longer needed as he is retired from toolmaking. Shop Made Machinist's Large Vee V-Block ToolMaker Fixture Vise - Must See!
Up for sale is a Shop Made Machinist's Large V-Block Fixture Vise in excellent condition. This was a fixture was made by very skilled craftsman and it works great. The base is hardened steel and the top piece is made of aluminum. The fixture is 7" long by 4" wide. So it is a good size. See my other listings for similar machine tool type items.
