Parallel Bars Precision Work Holding Heavy Duty 1 1/2" x 1 1/16" 3 lengths
A beautiful set of Precision Parallel Bars. I believe these are shop made but not positive. They have been in my Father's Precision Job Shop for as long as I can remember and have been used constantly. These are strong. Heavy duty parallels measuring 1 1/2" x 1 1/16" and come in pairs. There are 3 different lengths. 7" 3 3/4" and 2 9/16" They are rock solid and create very good support because of their bulkiness. A great set of accurate parallels. There are a few blemishes on them from age but they do not affect performance. They are in perfect working condition. Hardened and ground. I made them back in the early 70’s. This is a set of four, all ground alike. Actual dimensions are 1.187 x 2.848 x 13 with 5-1 1/2” diameter holes, to reduce weight. On the edge of each piece is a recess with my name stamped in it.
