One has the number 1612 on it and the other has 0182 or 0132. Also one has the initials M D in marker along the groove. There are NO CLAMPS. The pieces were made in the USA. PLUS a big bonus including 6 machinist made stops, a match pair of ground rectangle parallels, 4 used HSS drills and a big pile of machine screws. Included in the 26 piece lot are 15 1/2-13 bolts. These are threaded on both ends. Some have flats ground on them. Some don't. These came from various different sets. It includes four each that are 8" long, 7" long and 6" long. There are two at 5" long and one 3" all threaded bolt. There are two 6" toe clamp holddowns and four triangle step-bases that are about 3-1/2" tall. There are 4 hex bolts and 2 5/8" t-slots. The bonuses include a match pair of ground rectangular ... moreparallels- 6" long and about.625 x.740. These are machinist made and not heat treated. There is a total of 6 vise stops. These are meant to attach to the 1/4-20 hole in a standard Bridgeport vise and accept either a 3/8" rod or 1/4-20 bolt as shown. These are machinist made also. 2 of these do have broken set-screws in them which can be drilled out. Lastly. There is a big pile of machinist screws, bolts, set screws, etc. I have not listed them individually, because there is a bunch of them. This lot will ship in a medium size flat rate box, so I tried to include extras to make the best value out of shipping. Oh, there are also 4 used HSS drills. Machinist Hardened V-Blocks And Hold Down Clamps (Not the Smaller Ones)
You are bidding on 2 Machinist Hardened V-Blocks And 2 Hold Down Clamps. They are a matching set in very good condition. They are 2 1/4" long. 2" wide to the outside of the lugs and 1 11/16" high with the largest V being 1 3/16" wide and the smaller v being11/16" wide. They also have 4 tapped holes on the top, 4 on the bottom and 4 on each end. they can work on a magnetic table or clamp directly on the lugs or don't use hold down clamps, you can use conventional clamps on top of item to be clamped. There is no rust. Only very little tarnished look in some spots due to age and non use. There is no company name on them, but they are high quality blocks. And this size is very hard to find! This auction is for a matched set of machinist-made precision V blocks with clamps. I purchased these blocks from the estate of a retired machinist. These heat-treated blocks measure about 2 1/2" long. 1 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" high. Really well made-just look at the pics! They have the maker's initials in one small spot on each block. Ask questions and check out the photos carefully as I don't offer refunds except when I make a huge error in the listing. Shipping is $5.15. You will need to specify if you wish insurance. A Pair of Double Vee V-Blocks with Clamps Machinist Toolmaker
Here is a pair of Machinist's Double Vee V-Blocks with clamps. The blocks measure 2-1/2" X 2-5/8" X 2-1/16" The clamps measure 2" on the inside and have a clearance of ~2-1/2" when fully open. Some oxidation discoloring but no pitting. There are no maker's marks on this set. These came from a machinist's chest that belonged to a man who worked in Lockheed Martin's Skunkworks on the U-2 project- get yourself a little piece of history!

Up for Auction are 2- Adjustable Hold down Clamps(Blocks) Please look at the pictures above. These are the items you will receive. The Hold Downs are approx. 3- 1/2" long 2-1/2" wide and 2" tall. The allen head screw on the hold down that is on the bottom of the first picture has been welded/brazed back on at some time. I have used an allen wrench on both hold downs and had know problems. The Hold Downs are stamp on one side with SPANNKLAUE and a little picture of a hold down. Under the allen head screw they are marked MADE IN GERMANY. For sale is a set of 5 large V-Block clamps. See the photos for the dimensions. They are very heavy duty. See the photos the end of the screw has a point on it. The threads may need some dirt cleaned off them to work very smooth since they have not been used in years, but otherwise good working clamps. We may have other items of interest in our auctions- Check them out here under my other items! These are Two custom Manufactured V-BLOCKS with Screw Clamps. They are approx. 2.950 by 3.050 by 2.300. One side has a 2.000 V slot. Will hold up to a 2.500 part Used For milling and machining purpose. does have previous owners name engraved on bottom of block Items have not been used in over 20 years may need a little TLC.
