Nice Vintage Umco Aluminum Double-Sided Fly & Fish Tackle Box Model P-9
My husband is the original owner of both the box and the lures he bought as a youngster One side has 8 compartments(no holes or damage) The other side has 4 bigger compartments( with a pea size crack at the side of the top horizontal compartment that will not affect function) He has not used it for over 35 to 40 years I do not notice any dents well made aluminum box with nice snap closures

Up for auction is a nice vintage used tackle or tool box. This is a small tackle box. It is around 13" in size. It has a nice blue speckled type color. There are 2 trays inside that lift up and out of the box as the lid is opened. There is a front metal latch that simply lifts up. You will need to add your own lock to keep it closed. This has a sticker on it that appears to say My Buddy and No 13. It is rather hard to read and I am selling it as you see in the pictures. This is in good vintage used condition. It does need a light cleaning as it was stored for years on a shelf. It is from an estate auction. I was told this is from the 1950's time. I am not sure. Selling it as you see in the pictures. Vintage Old Pal Steel Circa 1950's-1960's 3 Corklined Tray Copper Tackle Box
This is a Vintage Large Old Pal Circa 1950's-1960's Three Tray Solid Steel Copper Color Tackle Box in nice condition. Opens from the front with 31 stationary compartments in 3 freshly cork lined trays. With plenty of room in the bottom. Closes tight and secure with original steel latches with a place for a lock on one. The handle is high impact black plastic molded in the trademark fish shapes. It does have some minor spots and scuffs. But no dents and the inside looks great. Very solidly constructed. Dimensions of box are 7 in. X 7 in. X 19 in. You won't find this tackle box in any store. I cannot stress how solid this box is. Take a look at the pictures and decide. Look closely at the photo's of the inside. There was some worm burns in the top tray and one spot in the second tray. So I decided to cork it. I have included ... morephoto's of before and after so you can see everything, not just the finished product. Turned out really well. I can send more pictures if needed. This is a large capacity aluminum Umco 1000 AS Tackle Box filled with mostly rubber type lures. My father was an avid fishing lure collector. VINTAGE FRENCH FISHING TACKLE BOX ..... VERY RARE & UNIQUE
Up for auction is this very rare. Extremely unique and fabulous tackle box from France. Although it came from France, the country of origin is unclear, possibly UK? I have searched extensively for similar items, but have not been able to find anything close to this very unique piece. This box measures approximately 18" tall, 10" x 14" at the base. It appears to be from the late 40's or early 50's, based on the inventory of the box. The inventory pictured came with it and consists of numerous float winders, some are hand made of wood and some are made of what appears to be celluloid. Also, there are numerous quill bobbers, 2 French fishing reels, spools of leader, and loads of hook and leader combos, tools plus much more! Most all of the packages and wrappings are in French. There are five different compartments, and ... morea handy shoulder strap. It's obvious that some of the dividers were added somewhere along the way as they clearly are not original to the piece. Adds a nice homespun, folk art, country fisherman feel to it. This kit needed a little TLC. Which I was happy to provide. I performed the following maintenance with stabilization in mind, not a restoration. All of the hinges were replaced as they were corroded, rusty and broken, the stay chain was replaced as it was broken and there were missing links, I gave it a once over with Howard's inside and out. Repairs and adjustments were made to some of the latches and to the side hinge stops as well. The vinyl seat is original to the piece and is in excellent like new condition, feet were added as the originals were missing. One of the contents is an auto repair receipt from Paris, 1973, from a Citroen dealership. It's a very cool and extremely rare piece. Fully equipped and ready to fish! Circa 1940, Plas-Tak" brand art deco era tackle box- is a hard plastic material that is marbleized green to white. I found this in an attic, I do not think it has been out in the weather. Vintage UMCO 1000RS green tackle box. The exterior shell is in very good condition and the latches are solid. The interior has 7 trays with 70 compartments plus a full basement for reels and things. Some of the black liners compartments have suffered worm burns and are dirty in need of a good cleaning. The 48 small compartments are dirty but in good shape. The burns are in the larger compartments where plastic worms were kept. This would be a nice tackle box to restore or line the compartments with green felt to display some of your vintage wood lures.
