Spinner, fly, Pflueger split shot sinkers in original tin, Johnson No. B in box, Spinerooo new on card, and wooden Thill 4" float. From an estate sale, the Model V-9561 box measures 13.5"x6.5"x6" in good condition with expected scratches and patina from use and age, latch and tray hinges work fine, clean inside. Great package of vintage fishing memories, will display well in any collection.

Photo is actual item in auction. Condition would be excellent if not for some cracking in a few places in the black tray liners. Even that is not excessive. The box itself and hinges. Handle and latch are excellent. Note the spare reel holding bracket to the right in the top of the box. This box measures 17 x 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches. It is constructed of light but very strong fiberglass with anodized aluminum hardware. State of the art for it's time. Very good condition for over fifty years old. This was the go-to tackle box in the late fifties on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. It withstood the salt water better than anything else available and was exceptionally well constructed. And very light in weight. I personally used this one for many years. A great way to display your vintage lures. Up for bidding is this vintage JC HIGGINS Tackle Box that was made for Sears Roebuck& Co. back in the 1950's. The top tray has a unique patented tray. Made to hold lures with treble hooks. It flips up to put lures in or take them out and when down allows for storage underneath it. The tackle box is made of Aluminum and has some bents and the paint shows signs of wear.See photo's for details. It's 16" long x 8" wide and 7" high. There is a Key included. As the tackle box has a lock on the front. The key seems to fit, but the lock doesn't work. With a little oil and cleaning it should resolve this minor issue. This Perrine box is in excellent condition and measures approximately 6" long x 4" wide. It has clips that would hold approximately 140 flies depending on size of fly. Next to the Perrine imprinted name you can see a velcro tab. These are stick ons that help prevent the fly box from accidentally dropping out of a vest or jacket. The velcro dots can be removed of course and on the other side there is pictured an Orbex knot tying guide which sports the Perine name also.
