Up for bid is this very nice UMCO corp. tackle box. There are no dents or rust. It is in really good shape for the year. There are two rivets. That will need attention. I have enclosed pictures of them. See the last three photos. The last picture is to show how easy it still folds down. But if you want perfect. You will have to fix those two. This is a vintage tackle box that measures 17 inches across. 7 inches deep and 6.5 inches tall. It has a black plastic handle which is still in good useable shape, Closes with a hinge type clasp in front. Good shape all around. No rust. Inside has tiers of shelves with plastic inserts. If believe it's all aluminum because a magnet doesn't stick to it. other than cleaning up. I see no flaws and it's ready for use.

VINTAGE UMCO CORP. MODEL 1000A ALUMINUM BOX
This is a used vintage UMCO CORPORATION. Made in Watertown, Minn. U.S.A. embossed aluminum tackle box Model 1000A. The rounded top opens in both directions to expose the contents, two racks of compartments 31 on one side and 22 on the other, not counting the full size bottom of the box. This used box still has the original hang tag from the manufacturer. Out of the 53 compartments one has some minor surface worm burns. Another compartment has a rough texture bottom with no idea what could have caused that. There are no dents or any other blemishes. This is a very nice box and looks great. Excess shipping charges will be refunded. Not trying to make money packing/shipping!

Vintage Aluminum Tackle Box Double Sided UMCO Corp Model 11
This vintage aluminum tackle box has fasteners to clip both lids closed and a thin enough profile to be quite portable. The construction makes the unit rustproof. aluminum and plastic don't rust. There is an end d-ring to secure the box for hiking or backpacking I suppose. This model is rather ingenious and versatile. It measures just under 11" x 5" x 2 1/2" This example is in good shape though I didn't attempt to clean it one bit. I've had bad luck trying to clean aluminum so I figured I'd leave it to the new owner rather than risk discoloring another super cool antique. Almost everything I sell is vintage. And even if it's less than 20 years old it was harvested from estate or garage sales. Thrift stores, auctions or flea markets. Now that being said I do my best to fully describe any obvious flaws.
