Here is a Fold-a-tray tackle box by Upper Midwest Mfg. Co. Minneappolis. Minn. It is in pretty nice condition. No cracks or breaks and secures good. I am not sure but the cork on the 4th column bottom row is different than the rest of the cork. It may have been replaced. Also, if you look at the last picture at the bottom right, there is a small rub on the bottom of the box. Still looks great and is on the bottom of the box. 1950s Simonsen Metal Products tackle / toolbox with fold out trays -- RARE
Offered for bid is an estate auction find; it is a 1950s Simonsen Metal Products tackle box in pretty good condition. Picture#5 shows a close-up of the label that says"Simonsen Metal Products Co. Trademark N1K1, tackle-tool, band-film, Boxes of quality" with a picture of an Irish Setter(I presume) in the center. Both sections of the lid open out smoothly and pull with it two trays. One of the trays has a smaller"toolbox within a toolbox" sort of set up with its own lid and latch. The exterior handle, latches and padlock hasp are original to the box. It does show some signs of wear and use, but nothing I would call objectionable. It measures eighteen inches long, by thirteen inches tall, by ten inches wide and weighs about seventeen pounds. Should have seen it before I cleaned it out. Used for fishing and probably a good 40 years old. Still a good box though with good latches. Handle, and trays. I just wiped it with some 409. The Box does have a couple of issues such as the paint drip and the release on the right side of the latch is borke off but still enough left to push in and work fine and some bends on the sections of the rack. Metal Tackle Box - Vintage hip type - with fold out trays - 3 per side
This is a metal tackle box. Hip type. The two lids swing out and in extends 3 trays, with dividers on each side. The dividers are adjustable. The trays are cork lined and the cxork appears to be new. The slide catch, like a suitcase has a key so the box can be locked shut. The top two trays on each side are approximately 3 1/2 x 15 x 1 inch deep. The third tray on each side is approximately 4 x 15 x1 1/2 deep. The adjustable dividers are on all the trays.

This used tackle box has only been used to store art supplies and is in very good condition with only a scuff or two on or near two of the exterior corners and any slight wear on the ex terior bottom from storage. This box is approximately 18" long. 11" wide, and 9 1/2" deep. There are 6 trays. They are each 14 1/2" long. Three of the trays are 5 7/8" wide and three of the trays are 3" wide.
