I know very little about the operation of this piece of equipment. This is the only part of it that I have. What you see is what you will get. I have not tested it in any way and do not know how I would go about testing it. I welcome any questions and will happily do what I can to give more info to any potential bidders. That being said. All bidders should consider this unit to be an as- is purchase, with no returns accepted. Here is a physical description of the item. The unit is very clean and appears to be in good condition. The case is free from any cracks and has just a few minor scratches. The spring door on the front works as it should and the plug in behind it is clean inside.The battery door is held closed by a screw and operates as it should. Battery compartment is clean as well and completely free from any corrosion.

The 2-Way Injector that's paired with it, the Cat-5 network interface cables and the MOD-8 adapters, plus the two shock cases, the large soft carrying case(not pictured but is included) two working battery packs, two chargers, all the owners manuals(3x) and the software CD(MT Crimp View) and software manual that shipped with it when new. Note, this is not the slower 100 Mhz scanner and Super Injector, this is the 350 Mhz scanner and the 2-Way Injector. It's loaded with high end features that allow you to certify cable runs as good and you can see a simple/quick Pass/Fail results, a step-by-step breakdown of what tests passed and failed, and a more detailed in-depth analysis of the data so you can correct problems and solve issues. Of interest, it will analyze and diagnose attenuation ... moreissues, Near End cross Talk(NEXT) and distance/ cable length issues. I've only included a few pictures of a few of the features in action and can provide more if desired. If you're looking for a full featured scanner but you don't have the out of pocket cash to buy a new Fluke scanner for several grand, this is the way to go! As far as we understand, Fluke bought out Microtest and developed their own scanner based on this unit, and we know of people using some version of the Fluke software with this device per their posts on various forums. We tested the unit to verify that it works and also calibrated the scanner to the Injector(as shown in the included pictures) using the step by step instructions contained in the owners manual. The function tests and checks we performed checked out just fine on the bench. However we can not be certain of how much working life remains in the rechargeable battery packs. They do take a charge and both the Scanner and Injector do work without the chargers plugged in(we ran several tests running on internal power only) but we have not tested the batteries for longevity.
