John Deere 730 Diesel Standard Electric Start
Up for auction I have a 1960 John Deere 730 diesel standard electric start. It's serial number: 7324483. It has the rare adjustable front in good non broke condition. The tractor runs great. It does need two new battery's and a couple battery cable ends. The cables are good but the ends are junk. It has the original starter. Bracket, throttle linkages, and breather. I pull start the tractor and it starts instantly. The clutch is good and it shifts as it should. The brakes are a little weak but they aren't froze up. It is full of good clean antifreeze. The flywheel and clutch drive are both right on the splines. The fenders are in great condition with a few dents but no rusting so they would clean up nice. The hood and nose are in good condition as well. I don't see anything wrong with it other then needing some battery attention. ... moreI've used it quite a bit around the farm pulling random stuff. It hasn't let me down yet. The power steering works and the front end seams good and tight. The original tach works and reads 1745 hrs. I'm not sure if this is correct but the drawbar shows low wear. All four tires hold air. The rear rims are in good non rotted condition, and the tires are about 30% matched tread but weathered. It is missing the top pre cleaner bowl. Overall it's a nice old rare tractor. Factor electric start tractors don't show up often in this good of condition. 1949 JOHN DEERE 'BN' TRACTOR, TWO CYLINDER
1949 John Deere BN. It is a BN tractor beacuse of the 42" rear tires and the single 16" front tire. Tractor was restored about 20 years ago and then used for parades and such for many years. The last 8 years it has been stored in a barn until recently when I decided to sell it. The tractor has 2 brand new rear tires(hard to find) and there is a brand new front tire. Not installed, too. I removed the carb and cleaned it well and installed a basic rebuild kit. I removed the starter and had it checkedand is in excellent condition, probably rebuilt 20 years ago, and recommended I reinstall it as is. Tractor has electric start with a new battery. It starts and runs well. Paint still looks awesome with a little wear in a couple of spots. Seat cushion and backrest are new. Tractor also has PTO and Power-Trol. History of the BN-This tractor ... moreis considered a"Late-styled" BN. The BNH model designation was dropped when these late-styled tractors were introduced, but the new"BN" were built only in the high-clearance configuration(42" rear wheels on long axles and single 16" front wheel) A very collectible tractor! John Deere 2755 w/ 245 Loader 1848 hrs
John Deere 2755 Tractor with only 1848 hours. Tractor has been used mainly for bailing hay. All is original except for the front tires which have been replaced with 4-rib that are now about 70 percent and the batteries which are about a year old and are NAPA brand. Rear axle is rack and pinion with tires being about 50 percent. Sheet metal is excellent while the paint shows slight fading. Seat needs to be replaced as it is starting to crack from age but the mechanical condition is good. Tractor has one set of factory remotes. 3 pt. hitch is tight with no unusual wear. There are no leaks on the tractor! Tractor has regularly been serviced using John Deere fluids. Very solid tractor that has been taken care of. The loader is a John Deere 245 Self-leveling with quick attach feature. The unit includes pallet forks. Bail spear and bucket. Bucket ... morehas a few holes rusted thru the bottom as it has always been stored outside but has had very minimal usage. The bucket can be repaired very easily. The hoses on the loader need to replaced soon as they are starting to crack although no leaks are present. These are all original hoses! John Deere 650 4x4 this tractor has a 16 hp yanmar diesel 2cyl that runs like new has no oil leaks what so ever has not used any oil at all the hour meter reads 200 hours and as far as i know that is the actual hours the tractor has a 4 speed tranny with high and low so you have 8 gears to choose from. The sheet metal is great the paint is good but some one has done some repainting on the hood and fenders looks like the tractor had faded so they touched it up but it looks good. tractor has cat.1 3pt hitch and 540 pto everything works as it should it has AG tires that are atleast 85% tread and in good condition. the tractor comes with a mid mount 60 inch deck. the deck is very solid no cracks or welds but it could use new belts it also comes with a 4ft master brush hog it works great and the tractor handles it well in weeds over 4ft tall. ... morethe front weights in the picture DO NOT come with the tractor they have been removed since the pictures were taken. 1960 John Deere 730 Diesel Standard
Up for auction I have a 1960 John deere 730 diesel standard. The serial number is: 7322799. The tractor originally came from out west were it had spent its life on a wheat farm with a John deere 80. It used to have a cab and I removed it since it wasn't a factory cab. It's a nice old original tractor and has never been repainted. The pony motor ran 3 years ago. I haven't had time to get it running. It will need a battery and some fresh gas and possibly a set of points. The big motor starts rite up and runs great. It is by far the best running 730 I've ever owned. It doesn't use any oil and it doesn't smoke at all hardly. The governor and motor were rebuilt by the original owner back in the 80s. He had a whole new governor case and block installed. Since the pony doesn't run we always pull start it and it starts ... moreup immediately. The flywheel and clutch driver are both good and tight on the splines. The clutch works good and the transmission shifts as it should. It is full of good antifreeze. The wiring appears to be in good shape and the original fuel gauge still works. The hood and nose are in good shape with just a couple dents and dings. The fenders aren't rusted out but have some dents that will need fixing and a couple mounting holes. All of the sheet metal could be made perfect without to much body work. Up for auction today is my 1944 John Deere B Tractor. It is running in the pictures. What you see is what you will get at time of pickup. I have owned this tractor since I was 15 years old. I am 47 years old now so I have had it for a LONG TIME! I pulled the Homecoming Float with it in my home town when I was a junior in High School. I would love to not sell it, but unfortunately as you can see it is setting outside and the paint is faded, tires are getting really cracked(although they all hold air) This tractor has a pair of the nicest unmolested front grilles I have ever seen. One is untouched and perfect, the other is almost as nice. Look at pictures, they tell the story. I just did an oil and filter change, just did a carb overhaul, replaced the plugs, and replaced the valve cover gasket. The mag has good hot spark. This is(obviously) ... morea hand crank start tractor as you can see from the pictures. It has an oil leak and needs the lower oil pump gasket replaced. Not a big deal. 1964 John Deere 1010 Turf Tractor
Up for auction is a 1964 John Deere 1010 Turf Tractor. This is a very rare New Generation tractor. I haven't found exact production numbers but most collectors I've spoken with seem to agree that there weren't many built. Based on a 1010-U. The Turf was given extra flotation and stability by the addition of dual rear wheels. Dual fronts were offered as well. The previous owner purchased this tractor back in the early 70's. He had to call the Deere headquarters to figure out what it was since the local dealer had never seen a 1010 with dual wheels. He was put in contact with a former assembly line worker that remembered the 1010 Turf model. The tractor was used for light brush-hog duty and mowing the edges of his fields. Any repairs were done by a retired Deere mechanic. The tractor shows minimal/normal wear. He had a valve ... morejob done in the 80's. The engine runs excellent and doesn't smoke. The carb has been rebuilt. The transmission shifts fine and is quiet in all gears. It has 5 forward, 1 reverse. Brakes are good. The 3 pt hitch works and it has a pto. The tach, fuel, and temp gauges work. The oil and gen lights function properly by going out as RPM's increase. It does not have power steering but steers fine.
