I got it back from the John Deere dealership a few weeks ago to rebuild the Mid PTO and replace gaskets. Every gasket in the mid PTO was replaced as well as in the final drive. Spent $3291.68(mostly labor. See pictures for page 4 or receipt) After I recieved it back the powering steering started to leak and I decided to just buy a new machine. If you have the know how to work on these then this is the tractor for you. THE TRACTOR: The tractor runs good as it is. There are a some things that it will need: New switch for lights. Lights work great, switch is tight though. A few light bulbs for lights- The power steering leaks. It needs a new seal ... morein the top(see video below) We just ordered the seal kit and it will be included. A diagram can be It was used with it leaking and it worked. It just something that needs to be done. Hours meter does not work. Reads 1820. I ended up financing a new machine which is the only reason I am selling this as it is. THE LOADER: I have seen these thing sell for over 3K here on Ebay. From what I understand alot of people are looking for loaders for thier machines. This is the quick release model. So it comes on and off the machine very easily. I was told the model of the loader is a 70A(Even though it says 70) as it has the mounting setup for the 855 and 955. Not for the 755 and 655. From what I understand the A determines the brackets as the 70 and 70A are exactly the same. Just different mounting setups. It comes with the mounts and bucket. It works great. But there are two things that should be addressed. One of the Hydraulic cyliners leak. Should be rebuilt(see pictures) It works fine how it is. There is a crack in the subframe of the loader. 1928 John Deere GP project tractor
Up for auction is a 1928 John Deere GP project tractor. Serial#202497. It was built on December 28, 1928 and shipped to Pottstown, PA. I began to take it apart several years ago and haven't had the time to finish it. My tractor interests have changed so it's time for it to go to a new home. The person I got it from bought it from the original owners family. They told him it was used until the early 50's when it was parked in a field which later became woods. He had to cut a trail to get to it and left the pieces of the trees that grew around the tractor on it(see pic) I've had several GP's and this one doesn't have the normal worn-out oil pump/cam gear on the crank like most GP's have so I'd say it wasn't used much. Yes it is RUSTY and UGLY but it is a first year GP. I will include the parts that came off ... moreof it plus some others that I have to help complete it. It still has pieces that are specific to early GP's like the flywheel, flat-side final drives, round hub steering wheel, and early governor. Also comes with radiator, fuel tank that will need pin-holes repaired, original block with early type pistons, cylinder head(not a slant plug) front and rear cut-offs, Ensign carb and manifold with exhaust elbow, and a base mount Wico mag. I do not have an air cleaner for it. It will need the normal sheet metal like fenders, hood, and platform pieces. I reserve the right to end auction early. Payment by cash or check only. No Paypal. 2007 John Deere 2520 Compact Utility Tractor w/200CX Loader and Rear Mower
This tractor has just over 75 hours. It runs great and it has a new battery and a new seat. A hood guard is installed on the front. The 3-point lift arms are upgraded to eliminate interference with the tires(this was a problem on earlier models) R4 tires on front and back are in good condition. This tractor has spent the past year or so mowing a small yard and it is used about once a week. When I bought this tractor last year. It had been sitting outside, so I put some cosmetic work into it including new paint on the fenders and ROPS and a few new plastic fairings and decals. This is a nice John Deere 4020 diesel with an M& W turbo added. Horsepower should be somewhere around 116(Same setup as a JD 4320) The sheetmetal is in very nice condition and the paint is good too. This is not a show tractor just a great farm tractor that looks as good as it runs. Tractor has the synchro shift transmission. Dual remotes, 540 and 1000 pto, new rear rims and newer front wheels. All of the tires are at least 70% It also comes with a John Deere ROPS and fiberglass canopy. Just installed 2 new Interstate 12volt batteries. All of the lights are in working order. I'm selling my 3010 John Deere gas tractor serial# T13018. I bought it a while ago thinking that it would be a great chore tractor. I fixed a few things on it and never found the time to finish. Instead. I found myself working on other things and not the tractor. It runs good and does drive around. The clutch and brakes work. It seems to shift pretty good too. The power steering works great. The rims seem pretty good around the stems. I didn't actually use this tractor to farm with, just tinkered with it. It does need some things fixed to be used daily. It needs: tune up, starter solenoid, correct battery box and cable, fuel line fixed, a couple of pieces of sheet metal, the other side of the 3 point. It does run good one started, but needs the carburetor gone through. It only has one side of the 3 point hitch(that's how I bought ... moreit) It has decent rear tires- one has 80% tread and the other is around 30% with a good casing. This is a John Deere 2320 Diesel Compact Tractor. 23 HP, 4x4, 74 Original Hours, One owner purchased new in March 2010 that was listed at $16,012 before taxes. This tractor has Hydro Trans, Power Steering, Three Point Hitch, Mid& Rear PTO, Foldable ROPS, Turf Tires with JD 54”D Mid Mount Finish Mower, Shaft Drive, Adjustable Cutting Height and Canopy. This very nice low hour John Deere 2320 diesel compact tractor is considered by some to be John Deere's Deluxe Compact tractor. Always kept in a covered shed. But the sunlight has faded the plastic foot pads to a grey color. The top has a bend or has been bent on the driver’s front side. Hard to see in the picture. Also the left tail/security light plastic red lens has a piece chipped out and there ... moreis a ding in the grille as pictured. All of the lights and gauges are working properly and the fuel meter has the ring around it. The power steering is working very well and is very smooth. And it has the regular fixed front axle. This 720 LP is a harder to find. Late model Black Dash. The factory black painted dashes were made in 1958, the last year the 720 was made so they are a lot more sought after by collectors. And also in 1958 these Black Dash 720's were given an update and a few mechanical modifications to improve operation and durability including the hydraulics, clutch, rockshaft, and power steering, along with an axle mounted step. This Deere 720 LP Standard we are offering for auction runs great with good gears and all real good or better starting. Excellent running tractor have owned for about 15 years. Hour meter does not work so hours are unknown. New Muffler this fall. Heat and air both work and Air cond Compressor was replaced and upgraded last winter. Mower in photos does not go with the Tractor. Cab Roof has plastic broken several places but cab does not leak. Interior was replaced a few years ago with automobile grade vinyl upholstry not the thin vinyl the aftermarket or factory uses. Seat bottom has a worn spot in the cover that was on the tractor when purchased several years ago Independent Pto works fine as does the transmission in all gears and creeper which is seldom if ever used. Engine and Turbo are in good shape One ... moreof the spring loaded lift arm adjustments is frozen and the spring& holder is missing but does not affect 3 point operation with the exception that you can not pull the pin to lengthen the lift arm on one side to aid in hookup of implements. 1946 John Deere Model BO Orchard tractor
At auction is a hard to find 1946 John Deere Model BO Orchard tractor. This unit is electric start. Starts easily and runs. Sheet metal is very nice, the hood is very good and the after-market fenders are sound. It has a battery box nicely made from an ammo box, though there is a new BO battery box included, not yet installed. Front rubber is near new. While the rears have weather checking. There are no cracks or non-factory welds that I'm aware of. The tractor was nicely repainted by the previous owner and should rub-out well. I bought this six years ago and. Other than starting it up every year, have done nothing with it. I'm just scaling back my collection. This is a great candidate to be made into a show tractor, in my opinion. This tractor is located in Southwest Idaho. It is a local pickup.
