Thermo Scientific Super Nuova Multi-Place SP135935 Hotplate Hot Plate Stirrer
Up for sale is a Thermo Scientific SP135935 hot plate stirrer. This item apears to function as intended but I am not an expert. It has a scratch as seen in the close up photo. It is located between the#2& 3 selector for the RPM. It also has some very minor other scuffs but other than that it looks new. This item MSRP is somewhere around $2400 I am selling this one for much less. I made the following test. 1. Selected heat mode and all 4 eyes heated up. 2. Selected RPM at various speeds placing a small metal object approx 1" from plate surface. Each eye appeared to be rotating(pulsating the metal object) at equal speeds through the rpm range. 3. Allowed stirrer/ hot plate to run for several minutes and everything appeared to function normal, the RPM would fluctuate from 1196-1200 rpm every minute or so but the rpm loss would only ... morelast a second or so.
