Tested and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Labquake Shaker by Labindustries, Inc. Test Tube Rotator, Cat. No. 400-110#2. This came in from a local factory and is in decent shape. Might need to be cleaned up quite a bit when you receive, but looks to work just fine. Was plugged in and the ON/OFF toggle switch was turned on, and the arm with all the test tube holders spun slowly. Looks like it has one speed- slow. I'm not sure, but looks like you can take it apart by unscrewing ... moreplastic screw on end and pull shaft off to help clean it up. The test tube holders might be able to slide off the square shaft to clean too. There is a holder for a bar through the square shaft near the motor, but not there. Can't see motion, but in pic 10 I turned it on and in pic 11 it was rotating. There are four rubber feet on the bottom that are intact, but one is rubber sealed on the top(pic 8) Has a heavy duty gray three-prong grounded power cord. Has 8 test tube holders, 4 on two sides. Says it is catalog number 400-110 and also has L-1237 on it(possibly model or manufacturer number) If Interested, also selling a similar one, which is much cleaner, has 14 tube holders and the bar that goes through the square shaft. Up for Auction is this VWR Multi-Tube Vortexer Model#58816-115. It has been used and does show some signs of age wear. It does operate when turned on. I turned the timer switch on and set the time but it didn’t shut off by itself(not sure if there’s an issue with the timer or something that I’m not setting right) Motor speed does go up as you turn the dial. If you leave it running for a while it does have a hot belt or hot gear smell. Due to these issues and my lack of knowledge I will be selling it for parts or repair.
