This auction is for 9 different Vintage Pyrex Glass Laboratory Scientific Equipment Pieces. Glass Lab Supplies. Here is a list and description of each item. First: is a T shaped connector tube has Pyrex- the No. 6949E-10- and 19/22 on it. Opens at all three ends. Measures just over 4 inches. By 2-3/4 inches, by 1 inch. Second: is a T-shaped long small skinny tube that connects in the middle to the turn valve stopper. In the middle is a Pyrex#2 stopper with green metal piece to hold the stopper in place. It Has Pyrex and the number 2 on stopper. Measures about 9-3/4 inches by about 2 inches, by 3/4 inches. Third: is a very long tube type lab apparatus with both ends open, and two small tube ports coming out the main part of tube, but there is a small tube within the tube. It Has Pyrex- U.S.A. No. 2705- 19/22 on the tube. Measures about 11-1/2 ... moreinches in height, 1-1/2 inches in length, and about 1 inch in width. Fourth: is a Pyrex 60 degrees Made In U.S.A. measures 3-1/2 inches long, and the funnel top is just over 3 inches wide, the bottom tube part is 1-1/4 inches long. Funnel has Pyrex and 60 with degrees symbol and made in USA on it. Fifth: is a Petri Dish container, Dish has 100 x 50 No. 3140 on it. Dish also has Pyrex and U.S.A. on it. Dish is round. Sixth: is a Pyrex Tube type piece, open at both ends, has two bent prongs coming out on both sides. 24/40. measures almost 6 inches long and one inch wide tube, and over 1-1/2 inches wide including prongs. Bronze, and glass beaker holder. it has a wonderful design and has two tiers. the circular base is nicely footed with 4 ball shaped feet. the bottom circular tier holds 8 beakers recessed in each hole. the beakers taper at the top to be able to sit nicely in the caddy. the top tier holds 4 recessed beakers. it is topped with a gold gilded bronze ornate finial which doubles as a handle to transport. the set is complete and in great shape. measures 11 3/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches. very rare beaker set. Old Scientific Apparatus Glass & Wood Lab Equipment Weird Whatsit
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICTURES. Unusual old glass tube on wood contraption from the Scientific Glass Apparatus Co. Bloomfield, N.J. A little metal plaque on the wooden base states that the company produced Laboratory Equipment and Chemicals. I don‘t know a thing about this odd old piece. It is a connected network of glass tubes and other shapes attached with metal clamps(with what looks like rubber under the clamps) fitting into openings in the wood. Small remnants of old curling wires add to the Dr Frankenstein‘s lab look. The wooden base is 7-¾“ X 12“ Total height is about 20-½“ The glass is quite soiled. Dark looking and dusty on the outside. I can‘t really tell how dirty it is on the inside but I am leaving all soiling for a new owner. The three uppermost sections of slim glass rods are broken at their ends, as is the ... moresort of blobby looking shaped piece just next to and a bit below the center rod. All other glass is intact. Something is missing near the top of the wood. Small nail holes in that area suggest that it might be the clamps that held the now missing glass tubes in place(just my best guess) There is a 4” crack in the wood on back that does not go through. Wood is still sturdy but dusty! There is an occasional minor scrape. The metal plaque has some specks and spots. Always happy to combine shipping! If you have purchased more than one item.
