I had this unit set at its highest temperature for 15 minutes the temperature was warm to touch but ... morenot hot. This leads me to believe the heating element is going out. This bath is in good working condition. It is in good shape cosmetically. But does show some wear from normal use. There are some light scratches/scuffs on the exterior casing. The tray that moves back and forth had four balls on the bottom ... moreof it. One of these balls is missing, but the tray still moves smoothly back and forth. Also, there is some light discoloration on the bottom of the tub and on the tray, but this is merely cosmetic and typical from use. The bath accurately heats to the desired temperature and moves back and forth to the desired RPM. This comes exactly as shown and includes lid. There are a few scuff and scratches resulting from normal use of the item. The item otherwise looks good. There is a functional fault with this item. The temperature display will not display the actual temperature. The display itself will power on. However it will not display the temperature. The bath is missing the fuseholder and fuse that allows the shaker to work. We were able to test the shaker and it does work. It just requires a fuse and the cap to hold it in. The heating unit does work as well. There is an adjustable hi limit as well as an exact temperature adjustment.
