Starrett 154 L Machinist Adjustable Parallel Blocks 6 Piece Set
You are looking at a really nice set of machinist parallel blocks. They are starrett 154-A threw 154-F 6 piece set. The the 154-E does not have the original screws but still works perfectly and does adjust and clamp tight. They all move free and lock perfectly. The 154-E does have a name engraved lightly none of the rest do. They come in a wood box I don't think the box was made for these and it is missing the foam inside. It's a nice hard wood box. My friends husband just unexpectedly passed away and I'm helping her sell his machinist tools to get some money, so we know very little about these tools so if you have my questions feel free to ask and we will do our best to answer them! I spent 30 years as a Special Machine Builder and Machinist. I retired from the tooling trade over 20 years ago so the time has come to pass along my precision tools and tooling to someone who has a use for them. For sale is another group of set up parallels. They have been retired for 25 years and I finally located the box. 22 pieces in this lot are(pre-hardened ground-stock) Four pieces in this lot are high speed steel tool bits. Two pieces are cold rolled steel- CRS and are soft. The tool bits and the CRS set are marked with a note in red. All pieces have been stoned off; most are still bright with minimal staining. Some show some wear from use. But still function as intended. Somebody put these guys back to work! Total weight 14 lbs.
