This is a Vintage GEOLOGIST'S ROCK HAMMER- PICK AXE by ESTWING-Made in the U.S.A. It is 12.5 inches long. And comes with its original Leather sheath. It was made of one solid piece of tool steel for strength. With a stacked leather ring grip. If you look closely you can see the Estwing name embossed on the sheath. The head is about 7 inches long and has a pointed tip. Unbreakable handle in normal use. This is the"F" model. It shows honest use and wear. But still has many years of use in it or add it to your vintage tool/hammer collection. The only defect is that one corner of the leather sheath has seperated from the grommet in the upper right corner in the back of the sheath.
