It runs on 115v power off a standard outlet with 3-prong plug. While it is insulated and has a cool glass door it should have at least 4" on each side for safety. It can be placed on a countertop with its looks and footprint or as we did on the lower shelf of a stainless table. The interior is slightly discolored from heating but not as dark as photos show. It has dents and nicks but operates fine. We plugged it in and ran it with an oven temp gauge in it to verify. It comes with 2 shelves and a removeable fan deflector for delicate items or browning control.
