The auction includes a Tektronix probe and a new power cord. The scope has acquired a few small scratches over the years but no ugly dents. Cracks or broken/missing knobs. Both the top and second down square trace is from my ancient, and far from perfect, homemade function generator, the sine wave is from the signal generator and the very nice clean bottom square wave is from the oscilloscope onboard calibration signal. The home made function generator, signal generator, cables and connectors are not included in the auction. Tektronix Model 2246 Osciliscope(serial# B115789) Up for auction is a nice Tektronix O-scope. It came from the estate of a Ham radio operator and has been in storage a few years. Last calibration date was 2005 but the unit seems to work well. I am not an electronics technician and have only tested the most basic things such as 60 cycle house current and got a good sine wave. It comes with three probes. The original owners manual and pouch. There is also paperwork on one or two of the probes. No overseas sales. Up for auction is the following item: 1 Tektronix 7904A Mainframe oscilloscope with four plugins: Two 7A26. 7B85, and a 7A24 that I kept as a spare. Serial number is BO41236; it has options 02 and 78. Comes with a P6120 probe, too! This current setup makes it a 4-channel oscilloscope. Some of the knobs are a little dirty, as to be expected, but overall, it works great. All of the switches move, the knobs turn, etc. Electrically, it works great. The traces are sharp and bright; the screen does not appear to have any burn. The first screen shot is of a 1mhz wave; the second is 100mhz. The cooling fan sometimes makes a little rattle when you first turn it on, but after about 30 second, it quiets right down. I've had the scope for about 5 years. And it hasn't given me a bit of trouble. The use has been light; I'm just a hobbyist, ... morenot a professional user. So, why would I sell it? Well.it's a big scope, physically, and I just really don't have the room on my bench anymore. I originally purchased it not to be used an as oscilloscope, but to get a 7L14 spectrum analyser plugin for it and use it as an SA, but, well, that just didn't happen, as that's one pricey plugin! So, I need the room, it needs a new home.and here we are. Shipping is a flat 40 bucks to anywhere in the lower 48 states; outside of that. We'll talk. If I can get the shipping cheaper, I will, but it's large and heavy and will take a goodly amount of packing material to get it to you safely. Local pickup is welcome!
