The unit powers on and works fine. In the pictures I show the calibration source split and sent to the three vertical input channels for demonstration purposes. Cosmetically ... morethe unit is in fairly nice shape. No major dents or gouges in the case. It is used, and as such, there are very few light scratches consistent with normal wear and tear, a few marks here and there. The only real cosmetic issue with the unit is on the back it appears to have been hit on the top BNC connector, which is dented in slightly. There is no problem or malfunction of the unit due to this minor problem, and since it's on the back panel, it's not visible during normal operation(see pictures) The other issue is the center"variable" knob on the 7A15 vertical plugin has been broken off, and is missing. The CRT screen is in very nice condition and does not have any visible phosphor burns, and there is a fair amount of reserve brightness. The unit is quite heavy, and the shipping is expensive on this unit. Because I am not a certified calibration laboratory, I can not guarantee the operation of the unit beyond its basic function. Display is nice and bright, with no burn marks. SPC passes every time, error log is clean. The floppy drive works, I can save waveforms on the scope and read them using my laptop USB drive. The original hard drive was replaced with a Flash hard drive, so you have no worries about the hard drive giving up. There's a ton of storage on this unit! See the pictures of the hard drive file listing if you are interested. The NVRAM and RTC clock calendar have been socketed with gold machine pin sockets and replaced with ... morenewer parts, so no worries about having issues with the batteries dying anytime soon. Since the parts are now socketed, replacement will be a snap in the future. Everything works on this scope. And if you find an issue with this scope I will refund your money. I have included pictures showing all channels working with a 20Mhz sinewave. This is a beautiful piece of gear, the color equivalent of this scope would be the TDS754C. The unit is very clean, only some slight blemishes/scratches on the front bezel from normal usage. I cannot guarantee calibration, however, as it has been some time since it was last calibrated.
