This is an Avtech AVO-2L-C-GL2-N Laser Diode Driver with AVO-2L-T Pulse Transformer. AVX-S3A-GL1 Laser Diode Bias Insertion Unit with socket, connecting cables, and user manual. The AVO-2L-C-GL2-N solid state pulse generator is designed for pulsing laser diodes and other low impedance loads with rectangular current pulses as high as 1.5 amperes and pulse widths as high as 30 ns. The diode load is connected in series with a low-value current limiting resistor between two output terminals. Located on an external module which connects to the AVO-2L-C-GL2-N via a 2 foot long coaxial cable. Output amplitude control is achieved by means of a one turn pot control. The output pulse width is also controlled by a one turn pot control. Output polarity is negative.
