Fexitron X-Ray Pulser Model No. 231, Marx Generator
You are bidding on a Fexitron X-Ray Pulser Model No. 231 manufactured by Field Emission Corporation. This is a triggered. Seven stage Marx generator. The sphere-sphere spark gaps are optically coupled so the unit should exhibit a low timing jitter. The design has the output folded-over and run down the center of the unit so it should exhibit a low inductance. The first stage is a trigatron-type triggered gap. Other specifcations are shown on the manufacturers label in one of the pictures. I do not have connectors or cables for this unit. The high voltage in and trigger in are PL-259 type. I do not know what type the output connector is. This item would most likely be classified as a"Directed Energy Weapon" by the US Department of State.
