The Tektronix 106 is a high spec square wave generator especially suited to check or calibrate scopes. Spectrum analyzers or other gear. It provides a very fast rise time, positive or negative going of less than 1nsec to adjust compensation and a.5V to 120V positive going flat top waveform to adjust attenuator steps. The Hi output is.5V to 12V at The Fast + and- outputs are a simultaneous 50mv to.5V@ A positive and negative trigger pulse is provided to solidly trigger the scope for a stable display. This is a late model. S/N 3931, and has the important mods Tektronix incorporated into later S/N's to improve accuracy and reliability. This instrument was last cal'd in 2000 and is working very well as seen in the pix. CSC 4001 electronic testing pulse square wave generator
This is a very nice 4001 pulse wave generator I got from a friend but don't have a use for it as I don't have other equipment to get it's full potential. It was made by a company called Continental Specialties but is now known as Global Spectialties and they make the same model as this. I have a copy of the Global website and they sell this model for $280.00. I have an older Hitachi oscilloscope but it is not digital so I am not getting the best pattern. But I can change settings on the 4001 and see different patterns on my scope at different amplitudes and speeds. The controls all look to be a clean signal. The output is strong as I hooked it to a speaker and can get some loud varied frequencies out of the speaker. Just for fun it might even be a good scary sound generator for the high pitch sounds it can make. But it is excellent ... moreinside and I have the manual with it. Computer Products Model PG610 Square Wave/Pulse Generator
This small pulse generator is approximately 6" by 3.5" by 2.5" high and is powered by the 115VAC line. The unit is clean with almost no scratches or signs of excessive ware. The output is a 5 volt positive going pulse referenced to the ground terminal under no load conditions. The pulse output drops to about 2.5 volts with a 100 Ohm load and to about 1.5 volts with a 50 Ohm load. The unit has Spacing and Width potentiometers which allow the user to change the output frequency and pulse width. I adjusted the unit to provide a 25 Hz square wave output driving a 100 Ohm load in the first scope photo. The second scope photo shows a 2 MHz square wave output into a 100 Ohm load. The third scope photo shows a 100usec pulse output at a 1kHz rate into a 100 Ohm load. Significantly more ringing exists on the falling edge of the 2 MHz ... moresquare wave if the unit is operated under no load conditions. The oscilloscope and other testing aids are not a part of this auction and are only shown to indicate that the pulse generator is operational.
