This Processor is in excellent condition. This machine was custom built in 2006 and has only 60 hours of use on it. It has the potential to cut a cord of wood in 40 minutes. Briefly this is how the machine works. After placing the logs on the processors arms this machine takes control of the rest. Motorized chains move the logs into a trough, where there are individually cut into pieces at a desired length by the processors mechanical chainsaw. The pieces then fall in front of a splitter where the log is then split into either four or six pieces. The shipping method has not been decided yet, this is something that must be discussed prior to transaction being completed. Used industrial conveyor in excellent condition. This conveyor was used in a food-grade manufacturing plant and was working when removed from service(change in fill lines) It is all stainless steel with a ribbed rubber belt. It is very well made and has stainless plates on the sides and bottom(as shown in the photos) The conveyor could be installed horizontally and used as a log feed into a firewood processor. I installed a very similar conveyor at an angle and put some angled sides on it and use it to convey firewood up into steel baskets or the back of a truck. Here is a pre-owned Split Oak slat-wood weave Vintage firewood basket found at an old estate. Probably dates from the 1970's. It does have some wear and is old. Tapped nails that hold slat-woven basket are rusted and gold frame piece is scuffed and minor dents. One side has Eagle emblem. This slat-woven fireplace hearth basket measures approx 18 inches tall and about 16 inches deep. More than 17 inches long, and a bit more than 14 inches wide. Manufacture date 9/2002. Blockbuster 2220 wood processor. This belonged to my sons father in law, and he recently passed away, so we don't know everything about this log splitter, but we do know it works great, and that we used it last fall to split wood and it worked perfectly. Diesel engine, unsure of exact horsepower, however the 2013 model of this same processor is 68 hp 4cyl kubota diesel. Capable of producing 2 to 3 cords of wood per hour. Tool box on the side. Timberwolf conveyer belt comes with this processor, 5.5 gasoline Honda engine, requires 2" ball for hauling. Has one flat tire, but holds air for a day or so. Processor hauling equipment does need some repairs, plug that you hook up to the truck for lights has been cut and needs to be replaced. This is a small. Very easy to use delimbing unit that will delimb virtually all spruce trees from Homer Alaska north. All is required is a small compressor to activate the knives and the sharper you keep the know with a small grinder the better it works. Very simple design but factory built. Due to a downturn in my income I had to let my employees go and this is a two guy machine for maximum production. One guy can run but slows the process little BUT saves the saw blade and back. This can be set up and torn down in minutes. A 1/2 ton truck will pull it with no problem. I pull it with a Kubota RTV. Beautiful Vintage Cottage And Inn Scene Brass Embossed Firewood Box Peerage?
Up for your consideration today is a Beautiful Vintage Cottage And Inn Scene Brass Embossed Firewood Box. This is a Vintage Piece and has marks from use over the years. Cardboard was taped to the top of the firewood box to keep it from getting damaged and there was a piece of cardboard in the bottom of it also to protect the bottom. I took that out. You can replace it or just leave it as is. There might be some residue left on the inside top of the box from the tape. You can clean it or just leave it as is since it is on the inside of the box. I believe from research that this is a Peerage box from England. I can't find a mark on the box. I have seen some that have markings on the edge of the top lid and some that are marked on the inside of the lid. Another one that I found was the same as this one but a yellowish color and it had a ... morelabel on the back of the box. A lot of the Peerage boxes have the same top scene that this box has. The man walking with a cane past the Inn or Cottage. I don't know for sure but from the research I did it could be a Peerage box. Some of you might know these boxes and recognize it as such. I can only pass on to you the research I did and found. This is a beautifully detailed box and what a statement piece for your home. The front of the box says"The Inn" on it. The measurements on the box are 18 inches long X 12 inches wide and 12 1/2 inches tall.The inside. Bottom and back side of the box are red as you can see in the pictures. Vintage HUTCHISON Black Powder Wood Blasting Splitting Wedge Firewood
Vintage black powder wood splitting wedge marked HUTCHISON MFG CO. Twelve inches long overall, weighing a little over 5 lbs. The head has hammer marks, is mushroomed a bit and has three small splits that don't open to the inside(see photo) I'm not sure if the weld around the fuse nipple is original or not, but the nut is exactly like the nut on a Hutchison wedge that I keep for myself. Wedge isn't badly pitted and overall it doesn't look like this hasn't seen much abuse. This has been cleaned on a fine wire wheel and lightly oiled. Not as shiny as my camera flash makes it appear in some photos.
