This is for an antique or vintage Lawn Sprinkler. It reads made by: Campbell Irrigation Co. Woodbury. NJ Patented. It has an S right above the opening for the hose. It works great. It is about 9" tall, the legs are 10" long and it is almost 9" accross. I am not sure what it is made of but it is a solid metal and the sprinkler head is made of a different metal due to the different color. Et al Offered here are four documents. One of which(4 pages) is a request for re-hearing by the Plaintiff, The Riverside Land& Irrigation Company, of a case that was decided against them in 1885. The defendants in the case were Cornelius Jensen, S.H. Ferris, and Patrick Gallagher. The issue originally brought before the court was the defendant's claim of rights to an irrigation ditch, known as the Beekman Ditch, on the plaintiff's property that they stated had been granted them by the original sale in 1867 by Louis Rubidoux. The re-hearing was denied and the plaintiffs appealed. The other three documents ... moreare- 1. Appellant's Points and Authorities(4 pages) 2. Respondent's Points and Authorities(5 pages) 3. Transcript on Appeal(68 pages) This, the larger document, contains all the legal points regarding the case as well as a transcript of actual testimony by seven people, one of whom was Cornelius Jensen who gave a brief statement of use of the ditch as he knew it to be. The four documents are in very good condition with the exception of the larger"Transcript" document having a tattered spine. The document bindings are all sewn and glued. The documents are housed in a very sturdy modern clamshell box. I have listed a number of items from the estate of Jacqueline Hurt Dooley. A descendant of Cornelius Jensen, one-time Danish sea captain, and Mercedes Alvarado, herself a descendant of a pioneer Californios family. 1915 Irrigation Ditch, sugar? Hawaii 4x5 Photo
Vintage Hawaii Photo, Ok. 4 years ago I bought a Hawaii photo album complied by the same person, photographer, library or museum? At the time I thought the numbering system were just random but now after buying this second album they were part of a HUGE Photo collection. This Album starts with numbers 27,300 and went to 27,399 most of which were Hawaii. Wish I had more info but that's it. Some of the photos in this Album look like they were from 1912- 1915 era with some into the late 1920s. So this giant collection must have been complied into the albums in the late 20s? The Album was the style where you would just slip the photo in and the only thing securing it was the small gum sticker. The second picture was taken while in the Album page before I removed it from the Album. The first pic is with just the gum sticker and the what was ... moreleft of the album page with the gummed sticker. Easy to just wet the gum sticker with a Q-tip or small brush and it should come right off. Size app: 4 x 5 inches Condition is: VG+ First pic is scanned at 600 DPI color. Used 1 3/4" x approx. 50' fire hose without ends. Taken out of service because they didnt meet standards. I used a couple to pump water out of my pond to water my garden. They can also be used to fasten to boat docks for bumpers. If you need more than one I can combine shipping.

Very well maintained Bush Hog irrigation pump. And engine. The engine is a 354 Perkins straight six 100 h.p. diesel with manual. The pump is an ITT Marlow capable of 1000+gal/min. The unit is very portable, and has it's own 100 gallon fuel tank. Comes complete with 8 inch X 30foot aluminum suction pipe& screened foot valve. The pump seal does not leak a drop. I am selling this unit because I have upgraded to a more stationary 3 phase electric unit. This unit was used for horticultural crop production, and ran 125 Rainbird solid-set sprinklers with 9/64 orifices, or a Rainbird 102 water cannon. I am asking $7500.00. You are bidding on a fantastic piece of history from my collection. This is Cash Ledger Number 1 from the Beaver Land and Irrigation Company(see pictures) This auction not only includes the Cash Ledger but also the original Certificate of Incorporation for the Beaver Land and Irrigation Company dated 31 May 1907. The CoI is signed by then Secretary of State(of Colorado) Timothy O'Connor. It was signed in Denver. Colorado at 2:45. If you are looking at this. Then you know the connection between this company and Spencer Penrose. If you didn't, well, now you do. A bit of background: Spencer Penrose made a lot of money in Cripple Creek gold mining operations. By the 1900's. His interests took him to the Beaver Creek area down south and he decided that water in that area was his new gold. He organized the“Beaver Land and Irrigation ... moreCompany” and began buying water rights along Beaver Creek. Projects of the company included the Schaeffer Dam and Lake McNeil(west of present-day Hwy 115) You can check out the Penrose Chamber of Commerce web site for some great history of this company. This ledger is about 1.5" thick and nearly every page has something written on it. There are some very cool entries as well; for example. You will find out that the company purchased an automobile in June, 1907. You will find the entry for the payment of the Articles of Incorporation to the Secretary of State for the Company as well as the Fremont townsite($4.50) You will also find that Henry M. Blackmer(of Cripple Creek and the Teapot Dome Scandal fame) had an expense account with the company and that the company frequently used the Florence and Cripple Creek Railway for freight shipments. There is even reference of a Susie M. Blackmer being on the payroll for the BL&I Company. A wonderful piece of history that will make a great addition to a collection.
