Available is a vintage Pflueger Temco fishing reel. The reel is stamped"free spool. surf-casting" and contains the bull dog logo. The reel has the leather thumb flap and is marked with patent no. 1.450,738; 1,559,496; 1,608,287. The metal parts have a very nice vintage patina color to them and there is some very slight surface corrosion here and there on the metal parts(more on the pillars and spool than on the end pieces) The reel has a very nice and audible click when put into that mode of operation. Overall, in fairly good condition and nothing unusual or unexpected. Reel is being sold as-is with no warranty either expressed or implied. I purchased this beautiful cast iron fireplace fireback years ago from an old house/grocery store here in the midwest. I have looked on Ebay and the big net and have not seen one like this. This was made in 2 molds. The elk scene is set in the iron frame with 4 bolts and nuts. Which is unusual I believe. The elk scene looks bronze in color in high relief. The frame is hammered on the outer portion with leaves being embossed on the inner portion. This is all in 3D. I think that this fireback looks like a framed picture. It is simply stunning and words or photos will not do this piece justice. When I got this and cleaned the smoke and such off of it and could see the real picture, I then loosened the two upper nuts and put a wire on it for hanging purposes. Bought in 1953 in India. Age unknown of this bronze. 5" wide. 4 3/4" depth, 4" tall. Horns were either broken or it was made that way.
