The box is empty but has a large paper label on the inside of the hinged top that gives instruction to the merchant on how to set the box and the inserts that it would have come with up to display the flower seed packs. This paper label is in very good condition. It is complete and without damage. It is a bit rippled. There is a patent date in the lower right corner of 1906. In addition to the paper label there is also a price sticker stuck to the inside back edge of the top. This shows that the merchant would have paid $15.00 for the box(if not returned) and 210 papers at $.05 each and 30 papers at $.10 each. For your consideration is a lot of 5 lemongrass seed packets. The estimated seed count of each seed packet contains at least 500 lemongrass seeds of the East Indian(cymbopogon Flexuosus) variety. And probably much more than 500. 500 seeds equals about a teaspoon. These envelopes were stuffed with a couple of teaspoons. These are fresh seeds from our own plants, not some bulk bought from another country and redistributed. Lemongrass grows best in zones 8 thru 11. But can also grow in other zones as long as plant is brought in for the winter. They grow best in full sun and well drained soil.
