Godwin HL5 High Head Diesel Engine Driven Pump 4X6 RUNS GOOD!!!
Selling this Godwin HL5. Dri-Prime, High Head Pump. It's powered by a Lister 6 cyl air cooled diesel. Godwin HL5 4x6 pump end with priming assisted compressor. Will deliver up to 1400 GPM Will pump up to 400' head or 180 psi. Will pull suction lift up to 25' Check out other specs on Godwin website. Has 6x4 reducer on suction side. And male/ female Bauer connections. Oil Filled Dry Running Mechanical seal. Was an ex stand by pump in a refinery. No hour meter. I don't think it has many hours on it though. Pump end seems fine. Mechanical seal is full of clean oil so I don't think there is any issues w/ pump end. No excessive clearance, everything turns smooth. Compressor turns and seems to make good air flow. Oil is clean. It has a full 100 gallon tank of diesel fuel. Which is $400 right there! This sat for a long time without ... morebeing run. I had the engine turning over and making smoke. But did not get it to fire. There is a bad oil leak at front crank seal/ oil pan. Probably needs fuel filters. And that issue fixed before it will run. I didn't have a big enough battery on hand to crank it fast enough. Trailer tires hold air but have bad dry cracks. I thought I'd list it as is. At a deep discount, before I started sinking money and time into it. These pumps sell for close to $40,000 new! Should be an easy fix, or use it as parts. This is a one time listing.If it doesn't sell then I'm going to dive into it, get her going, get her painted, then relist at a later date. Pick up only. Full payment via Paypal is fine.
