Gorman Rupp Diesel 4 Water/ Trash pump
I have a 4" gormin rupp diesel trash/ water pump that is trailer mounted. The engine is a air cooled 50hp deutz diesel. The engine runs awesome and the pump pumps water great. I had this pumping water about 2 weeks ago with no problems. The only thing it needs is it does not have a cam lock fitting on the discharge end and one of the ears is broke on the suction camlock fitting. It needs the line that goes to the oil pressure sending gauge as it has a hole in it. The exhaust pipe exiting the muffler is rusted through. I have a 4" diesel 55hp Gorman rupp trailer mounted water/ trash pump. Has a 55hp Deutz diesel engine. The engine starts up and runs great with no problems. The water pump works great and pumps awesome. The only thing it needs is a camlok fitting on the discharge end. And one ear it broke off on the camlok suction fitting. It also needs the line that goes to the oil pressure gauge as it has a small hole wore in it from the vibration, and could use a new muffler.Easy fix. Has new wheel bearings. We purchased it directly from them several weeks ago along with several more items, not from a broker or dealer directly from the power company, currently have no use for this type pump trailer so turning it into cash. The power company sold the unit because it was replaced with a new one due to a replacement schedule which is regulated in this case by age, not replaced because of problems or issues, trailer and pump have been on a strict maintenance schedule since day#1! Trailer is a 1995 Year Model and pump was purchased new in 2007 and placed on bolted on trailer. These units were on standby as a backup water pump source and used very, very little, does not have an hour meter but used very little! They did crank them on a regular basis and made sure ready to go although only used a few times to actually pump. For your consideration I have this very nice 4" Gorman Rupp High Head Water Pump. Irrigation Pump, Powered By A Deutz Diesel Engine. This is a former Military Pump with only 13 hours of operation. Pump will move 350 GPM at 275 feet of head much more at low head. The pump engine was repaired and run tested by a local certified Deutz dealer. Repairs include a new rebuilt injector pump. Yes it looks rough from sitting out in the weather all its life but is in excellent mechanical condition. Runs and pumps great! Extendable tongue with ring hitch.Tires are good. Inspections welcomed.
