I bought this new from Hobby CNC.com and built it as a hobby on a mill. It works very good, i used k-cam,or mach 3 or desk NC. These are precision CNC couplers and one of their many uses is to connect a stepper motor to a drive screw. The connector will allow for some misalignment and the design reduces vibration. This will save your stepper motors a lot of wear. Durable steel and rubber construction. Great on small vertical milling machines like the Sherline. It would also be great for cnc routers or any other cnc application using a 1/4" shaft. This can be used on any 1/4 shaft unlike some connectors that require a flat to be milled onto a shaft. I have for sale a new Gecko G540. 48v power supply, and 3 NEMA 23 570oz/in motors from Automation Technologies. The motors are dual 1/4" shafts, 3.5amp. also included are the DB9 solder cups that are prewired to the motors with a length of wire, plug and play. Its listed as used because I powered them up and jogged around in Mach3, other than that they have been sitting unused for a few months. Everything works as new. I paid over $500 for this setup, including shipping from Automation Technologies, at their website the power supply is on sale, and they don't have these motors in stock but they were $54ea when I purchased them.
