Universal Audio LA 610 channel strip tube mic pre compressor - mint
I have just bought it for a project. It's the best sounding 610 pre i've ever had. And i've had them all, racked 610, stereo, mono, solo and the MKII LA 610. I find this to be the creamiest. It has an added stage in the compressor. Even when it's bypassed, to my understanding, and that makes it even a tad thicker then the newer ones. The original were darker. Then they made new ones both for the 6176 channel, and the new MKII LA 610, and the solo's, and these new ones are brighter. This is more like the original and to me much vibier. Works great! So here's the deal.I normally cringe at the thought of anything that"models"absolutely makes my stomach turn. My sales engineer knows this so when he suggested this channel strip to me my initial reaction was to wish I could reach through the phone and slap sense into him. But. I trust him and was patient while he explained what this thing REALLY does. Yes, it models.40 amazing vintage and modern preamps and compressors.mix and match any combination you like. That's cool. But this isn't some silly software modeling engine that is 99% concerned with EQ curves, etc. This has hardware modeling as well. For example, if the preamp you are wanting to model had a transformer, the Liquid Channel will engage the transformer.if the preamp original didn't have one, it won't engage the transformer. But it gets better! If ... morethe original had a 32 tap transformer, the Liquid Channel will engage 32 taps of its transformer.16.then 16. This type of modeling at the hardware level gives the same impedance and overall electrical interaction between the mic and the preamp that a simple software modeling system could never even begin to touch.stuff that isn't easy to measure but can mean everything to the end result sound. I bought it.and I kept it.and used and used it on many recordings. Very useful, sounds great. Vanuatu(formerly the New Hebrides) 2001 issue commemorating the art of sand drawing. Se-tenant horizontal strip of four different stamps with center label, face value 60v to 135v, complete set. Scott no. 792Cd, containing one each of 792, 792A, 792B and 792C. Apparently the Scott editors didn't realize this issue was going to have four designs, and allocated only one number to it, subsequently giving three of them capital letter listings. The lithographed vignettes depict sand drawings paired with portions of one continuous scene of everyday island life on the beach and water. The center label shows a man making a sand drawing and is inscribed"Vanuatu Post supports the continuity& preservation of the country's unique culture. The sand drawing tradition. Which is both graphically attractive and may contain layers of meaning, ... moreis a UNESCO-designated Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. CONDITION: unused. Original gum, never hinged. This is the bottom margin piece from a pane. CENTERING: VF. It's hard to tell with frameless designs. But at least the perforations don't cut into any major design elements. Note on centering: the centering of stamps viewed in larger-than-life scans on a monitor can appear better than it appears on the life-size original(I know this from my own experience in buying stamps online) This is because the daylight between edge and frame in the enlarged version is simply easier to see. 1934 "BUCK ROGERS BATTLE FLEET" COMIC STRIP ART DECO SCI FI - INSTRUCTION SHEET
Here's one of the most beautiful of all 1930s comic character items- the 1934 BUCK ROGERS SPACE FLEET POSTER. Which contains the construction blueprint on the back for an incredible art deco space ship(in this case, the MARTIAN POLICE SHIP MP83Z) These sheets- there were six in all- came folded inside Buck Rogers balsa wood model kits. The color and graphic detail is truly remarkable. See photos for a closer look. The sheet is 17" tall and 11" wide. The color is bright and unfaded. There are numerous small tears around the edges and splits on fold lines. But the longest tear is only 1" long. No pieces missing; some small pieces are folded in the photos but they are all complete. No tape or other restoration on the poster.
