This paper shredder motor is in perfect condition(minus the cut wires) and is ready to be installed as a replacement motor. The original shredder clocked out when my sweater got caught in the teeth and stripped the plastic gears. A replacement gear would have cost $78.36. This is one heavy duty beast of a shredder.it gobbles up credit cards. CDs and apparently floppies(never had an occasion to try that out on this device) I plugged it in to test it as I havent used it for some time and as you can see in the pictures, it shredded a piece of paper, but it seems that it stays on, luckily in the forward motion, when plugged in and turned on. The green power button does work to turn it on and off but when on it is always running.
