This is a used industrial paper shredder. It has some cosmetic scatches on the front from previous shipping. Also the plexi glass front cover was cracked during shipping and we removed it, found that the shredder was much easier to use without it. It can be easily replaced. The cutting heads are still in great shape and we have never had any mechanical problems with the machine. We have owned it for about 2 years. Machine runs on 220V 3 phase power. SEM HSM KP-100 Industrial Paper Shredder/Bailer For sale is this used HSM FA-490CC w/ KP100 Industrial Paper Shredder/Bailer. It is overall in pretty decent cosmetic condition with the normal scuffs and scratches on the exterior. There are a few parts here and there that are a bit bent up and some parts that have some rust on them. The unit has been outside. But has been under a tarp, but has a few spots where some water got through. A few of the wheels have been damaged and would need to be replaced if the unit was going to be rolled around any. See photos below for more details on physical condition. Specifications: Brand: HSM(also SEM) Shredder model: FA-490 CC(FA490CC) Bailer model: KP100(KP-100) Shred type: Cross-cut 9/32" x 1.5" Security level: 2 We wired the unit directly up to our 208V 3-Phase generator to test it out. The ... moremotors have options for Star-Delta starting. But aren't currently set up like that. It powered right up once we flipped the switch. We tested each portion separately. We tested the shredder portion and were able to make it properly shred in the forward and reverse directions. We put in alot of paper at once and it shredded it very well. I then tested out the bailer portion and was able to get the bailer hydraulic ram to compress. There is an issue with the position sensor for the ram so it won't automatically stop the ram from running. Though it shouldn't be too hard to replace. We then ran the tieing mechanism and was able to get it to run by itself, though we didn't have wire or a bale to test it to actually tie. We have not actually tested the unit together as both sections. So it might need a few things to make it work alltogether. Will be sold completely as-is beyond our basic testing.
