For Sale is a 1986 John Deere Scraper. S/n 724720. 11 cubic yard pan with self loading and unloading elevator. John Deere 6466A 175 hp turbo diesel with intercooler. Hydraulic differential lock. 6 spd power shift transmission with automatic torque converter. Roll Over Protection. The unit has an hour meter( see photo) which shows 1849 hours. The mechanic believes this hour meter was installed during the installation of the second engine. He says the second engine is a factory new engine, not a reman, according to the tags that are on it. For more info on 762A's go to I purchased this Scraper 10 years ago for a pond project on my farm and NEVER used it. I have admitted that this pond project will never go in so I am selling this scraper. I spent over $ 13.000 with a John Deere construction service man getting this machine in reliable condition. ... moreNew items include a new elevator hydraulic pump, a new elevator idler, elevator chain repairs, a new tire, new differential lock pump, new batteries, and a new drivers seat. Up for Consideration… Original STUDEBAKER small clear red plastic Ice Scraper. The Ice Scraper advertises. Raymer Motor Co. Inc. 309 N 10th St, Phone 955, Boise, Idaho” in raised gold letters. Raymer Motor Company sold Studebakers in the mid 1930s- 1950s in Boise– per an internet reference. The top of the plastic Ice Scraper is embossed“STUDEBAKER, FINE MOTORING ACCESSORIES, MADE IN USA” The small Ice Scraper measures 5 1/4” long X 3” at the widest point of the blade. The scraper is in good condition for its age and material. There are surface scratches and one hairline crack on the left side(see black pointer in photo) and one small chip on the right side of the blade. The small flaws are just part of the history of this plastic survivor. There are products and techniques to remove scratches from plastic– but I will leave the choice of restoration ... moreto the buyer. As is. Item is Used. Vintage(1961) unit in good original condition as shown in the pictures. Item is sold AS IS. AS SHOWN in the pictures. It is always painted orange with visible paint chipping as shown. The engine was painted red and the grille and headlights were trimmed with silver. Also chipped and worn. The wheel hubs are unpainted metal as per original release. Not red plastic hubs as per later releases and has still working black plastic tractor type tyres. The arms that connect the hopper have decals with'260' in a circle in white and'Allis Chalmers' in black. The hopper is hinged so that the scraper could function and reach the ground. The small springs mounted either side of the hopper close it and are still in working. Excellent condition. There is no packaging. The Lesney Matchbox King-Size K-6 Allis Chalmers Earth Scraper joined the range in 1961. It was always painted orange but shades can vary. The engine was painted red and the grille and headlights were trimmed with silver, The wheel hubs were unpainted metal to begin with but later issues had red plastic hubs, All were fitted with black plastic tractor type tyres, The arms that connect the hopper displayed decals with'260' in a circle in white and'Allis Chalmers' in black, To add realism the hopper was hinged so that the scraper could'open' and reach the ground and small springs mounted either side of the hopper would close it which was a clever but simple piece of engineering but how we go about emptying the hopper was another matter. 1978 John Deere 670 motor grader with scarifier. 4127 hours. This grader was originally purchased by the United States Navy where it was very well maintained. It was then bought by the WV state road where it was again serviced and maintained to a high degree. We bought it from the state road and used it to maintain a small patch of road on a reclamation job for the last two summers. We have had no problems. Big or small out of this grader since we acquired it. It is a solid machine ready for work.
