It’s a one piece heavy duty rod that measures 6 ft. 8 in. It handles lures from 2-5 oz. and lines from 15-40 lb. test. All of the guides. Tip-top, wrappings and padded handles are original and in perfect condition. It’s exceptionally clean with a couple of very slight mars on the blank that are hard to find. No damage at all on the handle or fore grip. It has an original butt cap. It does have one flaw that I consider to be insignificant, but I feel that you should be informed of. Right near the hook keeper is a spot that measures about one quarter inch square where it appears that the finish has rubbed off or chipped. I’ll show that in one of the photos. There is a second set of numbers that read MSH7. It’s a very nice heavy action rod with no signs of abuse whatsoever. U.S. sales only for this item. This is an amazing vintage cane Muskie rod that is 5'3" long and in very good condition considering its age and has much character. I can't find the manufacturer on the rod but the information I got from the previous owner dated it to the 20's and was used for Muskie fishing in Wisconsin so maybe if you see this listing and have an idea of the maker you can fill me in. The only flaw that I can see is one of the guides wrap is coming undone. The rods diameter where the handle meets the rod is about 5/8" so it is very stout. Very good condition custom Lamiglass Musky rod. This rod was built for Mouldy's Musky chop in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin with the finest components. Lamiglass blank, Fuji Grip, Fuji Silcone Carbide Guides that will hold up to braided line with out damage. The blank is grey with beutiful maroon hand made guide wraps. This rod is 6'6" and is rated for 1 to 3 oz lures. It is in very good condition with no damage what so ever, all original guides, no chips etc. Rod was only used a few times and has just been sitting in the rack. I am posting four musky rods, if you buy multiple rods you will only pay shipping for one. This rod makes a great top water, jerk bait or small bucktail rod. Casting big baits is a dream with the correct rod and a lot easier on your body because the rod does all of the work. This rod is everything they claim and more. I built my own custom rod to replace this one so it is no longer needed. It is in very good to excellent condition with a few cosmetic scratches. Cork is perfect.
