Lamiglas Graphite 8' fly rod w/ graphite grip Price Lowered, again !!
This is a Lamiglas Graphite fly rod I had made in the mid 1980s. It is a GSH102-2MH 8'6"spinning rod blank cut to 8' I had it shortened to use for salmon on smaller streams. It is a medium/heavy rod rated for 10-20lb test. It has Fuji ceramic guides and a Lamiglas graphite grip. With a reel seat that can be moved on the handle. I used it drifting egg sacks, very sensitive. The grip is wound with friction tape, because it proved to be very slippery in cold weather. The rod could be used as a boat rod with a level wind reel the way it is now. Or change a few guides and use it as a spinning rod. It is in very good condition showing little use. Total rod weight is 6.7oz. From what I have read, the older Lamiglas rods are in demand now.

It has some light stains/scrapes on the finish typical of most used rods; doesn’t hurt the appearance all that bad. You are bidding on a vintage Lamiglas fly rod. Factory built in America. This graphite rod is 8 1/2 feet long and has two sections. It's rated as a 6 weight but will throw a 7 weight line well. The color of the rod blank is black with gray colored guide wraps. The aluminum reel seat is black, The overall condition of the rod is good. No guides are missing, the ferrules are fine. The handle and reel seat show wear typical for the age of the rod(approximately 40 years old) Why buy it? It makes a great all around rod for the beginner fly fisher. Or a nice 6 weight spare for the seasoned fly rodder. It comes with a cloth rod sleeve and a protective aluminum tube. Note the cap to the tube is missing but should be easy to replace.
