Check store for more items! Qing dynasty paktong handwarmer is crafted in a most unusual style with an openwork pattern containing design cut outs. The heavily cast plain surface body has a thick single-swing handle which is attached to it. In the winter months. Old Brazier - Bronze Age? Missing one leg of 4- lots of oxidization-some letters
Hi Everyone. Here is a Very Nice Old Piece of Metal. Missing one leg. Has some Letters still on the Top Rim. Looks to be Bronze. Copper, Iron, or a mix of the three! This Great Old Piece measures 9.75" Diameter atop. Base is just over 5" square(if it had 4 legs) STANDS(on it's own) 7.75" Tall. Looks as if it has a place for a grate or shelf inside. Some tabs are molded into each of the 4 sides. Appears to have hade an old Spring Wire Handle at one time. As there are little indents on the 2 little stubs sticking out on either side. Looks as if there were 12 to 16 letters around the rim at one time. We can't tell if this is patina, or polished material, or paint, or what the Copper color is on the outside. In some places it looks like Bronze, the rust looks like Iron and the outside color is Copper. We don't have ... morea clue as to age or origin Or material. Please inform us if you can! They both are hand made. Hand shaped, hand forged. Room brazier in round shape is made of copper with brass handles. Standing on round base. Actually this kind of brazier is used in a room both to get warm and to cook coffee. Coffee beans roaster with an iron handle is made of tinned sheet iron.
