Thomas & Thomas 7-piece 8-foot 5-weight Vagabond Travel/Briefcase Graphite Rod
I am selling a Thomas& Thomas"Vagabond" rod that I really like. But rarely have had an opportunity to fish. When I bought it, I had great ambitions for fishing in far-away exotic places, but it looks like those dreams are not going to come to pass. I have fished this rod, however, and I can say that despite the number of ferrules, the rod flexes deep and has what I would call a moderate action. I guess this is what I should have expected from Thomas& Thomas, but it is still a source of some amazement to me. Thomas& Thomas no longer offers this rod. But when it did it said this about it in the marketing literature: A rod you can take anywhere, the Vagabond is designed in multiple 15" sections that slip easily into a standard briefcase or overnight bag. Yet, they handle with the ease and smoothness of a 2-piece rod. ... moreFeatures include an uplocking reel seat with hardwood insert and Western grip. I would also note that it has alignment marks, which I think are useful for a rod with this many sections. It is made from a black polished blank with black wraps, and is beautifully finished. The rod retailed for $785.00 in the late'90's when I bought it. It comes with the original rod bag and cordura case. The rod is in excellent shape. I would characterize it as"like new" but for a noticeable scratch on the second section. I have included a close-up of the scratch. It does not affect the performance of the rod. 7'5 big guy surfboard
7'5 surfboard barely used at all. The foam is made of biofoam which is biodegradable hence the discoloration of the board. The board is basically brand new no dings cracks heel dings nada. Great board for bigger guys or guys that need a board to get them in the wave really early.

For sale a VINTAGE WEBER PIG CIRCA 1969-1971. Board is the classic shorty from the time period. It 5'7"x 20, with a Guidance Fin System,clear deck, rootbeer brown bottom and rails with a lavender pinline. Board is in very good condition for it's age, does have some pressure dents on deck, bottom is very clean, no dings. The nose looks to have been repaired at one time,with good color match. Board may also have been re glossed on the deck. Fin is in good condition with some minor dings and a small hole drilled near the base, it does have 1 of the set tab for the fin. Board is water tight and would display well. I will be happy to send more photos and answer any questions if interested. Would prefer local local pick-up. This is a used big wave gun/semi-gun in very good used condition. Now is the time to buy your big wave board for winter. I simply don't use it much anymore. Great board for big. Heavy spots during winter swells. Dimensions: 7'0" x 19" x 2 5/8" Includes FCS G4 fins and a rubber nose protector(or is that a rubber eyeball protector? This is a low tail rocker. Pointy nose, pin tail, semi-gun shape. It has a tail glass patch for strength and glide weight. The rails and foil are performance thin. This is not a beginner board. This is designed for someone who knows how to surf and wants more stability on turns and more paddle power on very big overhead days. No leaks. It's entirely water tight. Some yellowing of foam because of age. But still light and strong. There were two small rail dings. One is a minor crack. Which ... morenever leaked and is covered with extra resin to seal. Up for grabs is a very lightly used windwing quantum 7.5 m windsurfing sail. Rigging specs are with 460 cm mast + a 40 cm extension and rigs up good on my 180-240 boom. VERY nice Historic late 1800s/early 1900s Chickering 7.5 ft concert grand piano
This is an amazing concert grand piano I purchased from the owner of the house I was renting in San Carlos. CA. She was going to rent the house un-furnished, but I just bought all the furnishings because I was too lazy to go furniture shopping for myself. Here is what she told me about the piano. She had lived in this house since the early 60s. I believe the piano had been there most of that time. She claims that she bought it from a piano dealer in the San Francisco who told her that this was the piano taken from the Fox Theater in San Francisco. He told her that it was worth a fortune for this reason. She told me that loads of famous people played on this piano and that various piano experts in the area had told her that it was worth $30k to $40k if it were restored. Sounds plausible to me- plus this lady has proved herself to be completely ... morehonest in everything she's told me. So if there is any error in these claims. It's either that SHE was lied to or I'm not remembering everything exactly right. But she certainly convinced me that the piano was worth every penny I was paying and then some. So I bought it. I've wanted to resume my piano lessons ever since quitting in high school. As I should have expected. Though, being CEO of an internet startup while raising 3 kids of my own under 10 years old, has consumed enough of my time that I haven't worked in the piano lessons somehow. Also, since buying it, I have moved to this area- into a beautiful loft home in downtown McLean, IL. This is where the piano now resides. By the way. The previous owner had had the piano tuned regularly and religiously. I had it tuned by Horine's a few months ago and it is still sounding pretty good.
